I have no agenda, and I have never criticised the new management, as I have no cause so to do. Yet. Perhaps you could tell me why, if everything is so brilliantly ok here, that the share price has been tumbling since their appointments? I have my own thoughts on the matter, but will wait patiently until things improve. I maintain though, that things are clearly not ok. If they were, then the share price would not be under such pressure. And your comment on the bottom line is completely irrelevant. Continuing R&D costs are more than capable of offsetting any marginal increase in turnover.
No promises have been broken by this management. none whatsoever. Brubaker and Jones are top draw aggrochem executives. ask yourself this? why would they join PIM, MC of less than £10 million, considering their history. Because the products are good and they believe they can drive sales forward. Your comment about turnover is idiotic. They have margins on INCA of over 60%, so any increase in turnover means more money on the bottom line. Reggie, you seem to have an agenda......sold out have you? Deals.....a new french distributor and a new one for the UK
Trading in line means losing close on £2m, from a marginal increase in turnover. Increased turnover, increased losses. The market will react accordingly. In line, yes but with dramatically reduced forecast. Deals are required. Deals that will replace those already existing, signed by the previous management. Deals that were even then going to lift the company into profitability. Too many promises broken, not the fault of the new management, but a pattern that may be difficult to change. There has been much over-optimism here. To say everything is ok is, imv, plainly ridiculous.
They just announced that they were trading in line!! and they were encouraged by the future order book. New management reduced expectations to realisitic levels. They are meeting those expectations. The products are world class and game changers. You only need one product like that and you have a great company. PIM has several. Just got to be patient
But I think it will get worse before it gets better. Hopefully, I am wrong and there will be some extraordinary news that can propel us upwards. Unless it comes before the annual results are announced, then I fear the slide will continue. There is a tendency for the share price to fall every 6 months, following dissapointing figures. Almost as regular as clockwork.
Had all the right ingredients but has failed to make an impact (pun intended) and is slowly eroding SP
Your prediction is in line with our broker's expectations. They issued a 'Market Perform' statement on 15 December. Unfortunately, even that has to be seen as wildy optimistic. I await my copy of the R&A with more trepidation than usual. Let us hope the new regime are less tardy than their predecessors in that regard. I note that Mr Blezard now has cap in hand once more, asking for £5m to kick start a new and wonderous product for our eco-minded farming community. I, for one will not be investing.
I have little expectation for this share. It will do well to hold its current levels over the next few months.
Where do you see the sp going short to mid term here now. many thanks
Good news GL all
RNS just out: http://www.investegate.co.uk/Article.aspx?id=201204051038229087A Bugoil registartion successfully received from the US EPA. Also since PIM are loking at "commercial alternatives" for Bugoil, perhaps PIM will get a nice cheque for either its sale outright or the licensing of rights to it? Plus confirmation that trading is in line and that PIM has cash of £1.3m, i.e a cash burn of only around £360k in the last 6 months. At that rate, and with improving sales and lower costs given the recent efficiency programmes and changed business model, it's possible PIM could reach cash break-even even this year.
hese on ore now, never a dull moment?...
he will trace that post now but wouldnt get it from the biker member bit Lol (wink) have to think outside the box with some of these crazies .Sorry for the OT PIM fans
whats the score with yours and the darkbirds stalker Baza very odd .Seems veryinterested in the hawk .You get some right ones on here mate i tell you
Can i ask your take on the drop here. Could it be mm grabbing what they can? Are you still happy to hold here if you don't mind me asking ?
Looking interesting again here but a defo sell off and with Bugoil news in April ???? whats the score here thought it would have pushed on after the prvious RNS .I took my profit here before and glad i did been dropping for a month now .Thoughts anyone was thinking of buying but something doesnt add up gut feeling IMO
Any of you conspiracy theorists out there know what the 64 share trade is signifying?
I suspect, rather than the mass sellout you talk of, it has been more of a transfer. Many of the trades appear to be buys, with MM's accepting small margins, probably easing out a holder and distributing to willing buyers elsewhere. No appetite for marking the price up though. That could be a sign that cash is required and could possibly be difficult to get in the current marketplace.
How the Sp has not fallen further is beyond me. There has been a mass sell-out in here.
I am just concerned that they may have to fund further trials etc. It is difficult to know but the rumour does seem to be circulating.
Just heard this from friend in city. Abyone heard anything about this? It might explain all the sells in here?
Thanks again guys.GL
I tend to agree - SP had fallen quite a bit before the pike on Arysta news too. Tends to happen with this share. Seems to be mostly low volumes as PIs are spooked by SP falling for no reason.
guys whats your take here on the sp drop. MM games before good news maybe. Would be very great full of your opinions. Where do you see the sp by the end of April. Off topic here ( sorry ) Riddler could i also ask your take on sty and mbo ,sorry for being O/T here guys. Many thanks.GL all
