Hi Wizard. All but 3 million sells " according to this site " in the first hours trading after what I thought was an excellent trading update !!!!!!! WTF. D.
very happy with that update. I expected a bigger reaction though! They state the repeated 20% ORDINARY div growth year on year but if I remember rightly the special div is everything above £50m reserves? so could be on for an interesting special div! The Board expects the financial year ended 30 April 2017 will be in line with market expectations, with significant revenue growth and record progress in profit before tax (+c.20% compared with 2016), supporting the Group's stated commitment to increase the total ordinary dividend by 20% year on year. Did we know about this Germany roll out? or is it a surprise? The Group has now also started the progressive roll-out of the ANTS booths in Germany.
" AND THERE IT IS " D.
Sorry Deod Didnt mean to ignore you there, my brain is numb. That last bit of research !!!!!! If you could call it that was also for your eyes. Trading update tomorrow hmmmmmmmmm. D.
Hi Burton God! I wish I hadn't started this. If PHTM have the sole rights to the Kis Wash laundry system in the UK. I'm counting around 80 ish open air laundry outlets starting up in the last year or so. ( from twitter ) Most are attached to grocery stores or petrol stations. 1500 odd in Europe but I think they introduced them there a year or two before us. That's my last word on the subject " I'm starting to bore mybloodyself " sorry. D.
Hi oldbadger, I find it interesting, Deod123 has seen 3 in Eire, they have mentioned N.Ireland, there is Scotland and the north of England, that we know of. How many more??? And pretty much under the radar. Strange trading today, some hefty buys. I think a lot more than usual, but I'm not that close an observer. I wonder what tomorrow will bring, boredom or excitement?
Living in southern ireland .three new photo me laundry units opened near me in the last few months.roll on the results
Burton, like yourself I also have been looking into the laundry roll out numbers in the Uk and can find nothing. I can confirm that two have opened close to where I live in the west of Scotland. Full year results due soon. Last word from company was in January saying " trading in line with BOD expectations " So i would expect them to show nothing less than that !! D.
I hadn't really thought to much about the laundry roll out in the UK. I live in the west of Scotland and in the last year there has been two new self operating laundries opened in my locale. One in a BP garage and one in a Morrison's store. Time for the badger to get Lola the spaniel off the couch and out for a walk to see if they are PHTM. run. D.
Hi oldbadger. I agree with you regarding the long awaited trading update. Steve, I hope you're right! Phtm have been quietly rolling out the Laundry format in the uk and there has been no rns. Most companies would have been shouting about it. They have sites in N.Ireland and Scotland, and I think one has opened in N.Yorks recently. But the website dos'nt say how many there are. £8 to wash a duvet in 30 mins compared to £20 in 2 days at my local cleaners!! Interesting
The results should be brilliant and a special dividend as well
Hi Wizard Don't have a particular price for re-entry' Sold out at start of May for a reasonable profit plus divi. No funds available to buy back during the recent mini dip to 168p, " wish I had " I'm not expecting any news positive or otherwise from the BOD until final results so I am just biding my time. Don't do LTH anymore, I monitor about 10 different companies which i dip in and out of when i feel the price is right this just happens to be one of them. Wizard If your saying PHTM is a well run profitable undervalued company I agree, that's why it's on my watchlist. Steve good luck with your trading update in May, we've been waiting for it since February. D D.
According to the Financial Calendar on their website, a trading update is due in May 2017 - no specific date, and preliminary results on 27 June (provisional). In theory, not much longer to wait!
Hi HF, I agree with you that good results may see a re-rating, hence trying to find out about an announcement. The fundementals of this company are good. cash generative and ROCE over 25%
Hi oldbadger, out of interest where do you desire the price to go? will you buy a pull back or buy strength as it moves up? PHTM has not has a significant pull back in some time. I persoanlly feel any positive news will give this stock a big big lift . . .
A trading statement can come at any time, but I wouldn't expect one here BOD have been very quite off late. End of financial year was April 30th. Reporting of results last year was 20th July. Second half of dividend payment last year was around October, that was just over 3p. Wouldn't expect anything dramatic here sub final results posting. This message board and the management board have been very very quite for some time. Personally I'm not even in here, still waiting for my desired entry price. ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ. D.
Does anyone know if we are due a trading statement or update anytime soon? I've been looking to see if one is scheduled, but I don't know if I'm looking in the right places!!
Could someone tell me what the dividend payout has been on these please
I am afraid the wild swings in SP continue here. Usually recovers into the close although not today. The FCA really have to look at this because 4-5% intra day volatility on a daily basis is not on when it is based on no news. How can they justify it? By no means the only share...
I have 2 shares in amongst my portfolio that, at the moment ,are "breaking the rules" and actually RISING during XD period. This is one of them.
Good week for PHTM.
Thanks oldb. Nice to see just a small drop this morning. I'm looking forward to good results.
I don't think it was a technology issue that caused the stalling of the Japanese mandatory ID my number system, not on our part anyway. I think the time limit was scaled back in its full implementation because of administration issues at a local level. If you type Japan Times my number ID into Google you'll get the story there. D.
Is it going too far out on a limb to assume that if the technology is sorted for Ireland, then the Japan issue may have been overcome? I'm hoping that the ex-div drop will not be too bad as I think this company is much undervalued.
(Which means Investors get paid on 11th May). - With it being Ex Dividend day tomorrow, wonder how far it'll fall at the deepest point in the XD period. As it's the first day of the new financial tax year, might that colour things differently?
