Have they stopped dividend payments??? I can't see anything for this year yet?
Its probably written by some oik just out of uni.
These so called anaylists amaze me. The reason inmv is the constant fluctuation in gilt yields with our wonderful gvmnt bowing to the us once again in regards to interest rates. The sooner the eu and our woke gvnmt tell them that we are not their wipping boy the better inmo. Ohhh if only.
Oh and the added bonus that the gaps have been closed on the chart now. The only one remaining to fill it at 548p.
For shorts to reassess ... on the plus side great price for reinvesting dividends at this level... another wave to ride for a while.
Barclays unhappy “ Barclays cuts Phoenix Group to 'underweight' (overweight) - price target 500 (600) pence”
Anyone have access to the detail ?
Hi Etank,
Thanks, I can not give you any buy or sell advice or recommendations In the short term (daily TF) the price action is in a corrective move touching/bouncing on the 28 SMA at the midline inside of the Bollinger Bands which needs to hold above to remain bullish. IMOO DYOR GLA
Hi Svend,
Thank you very much for your response.
A bit more waiting then!
Hi Etank, The tea leaves look choppy the price remains above the 200 SMA and the Ichimoku clouds bullish break out above 524
The 62p forecast is amazing really, especially if you get in at this price
12% Divi per annum! Try finding that anywhere else.
Svend,
Would like to invest some spare cash in PHNX, not from rr., I might add!
I would really appreciate your take on the tea leaves on this one, please?

Add some divi froth which seems good to me!!

Still think we will have some good days to come when Dividends start getting re-invested , will do some more top-slicing then, perhaps
Gone to cash with my insurers now. Can’t believe they gone up since selling!
Can see the El Niño winter adding to food price inflation + ME woes. Most don’t go xd until sept now so thought better off sitting in cash even if means paying more later.
I remember when Ukraine kicked off it was better off being out and waiting to buy back cheaper.
Hanging on to oil, gold and stocks with US ops.

8.5% drop from high was overdone imho but great if you played the game correctly
For me this is a good long term hold for the following reasons.
Interest rates will eventually fall which will add to the book value of the company.
They are also expanding in a subtle way in terms of a new invest pot backed by hmg. So I would not be surprised if we saw some material incentive,s from hmg in the future.
Just my thoughts fwiw
Apologies in advance dear posters but I'm having a look here to see what PHNX is all about whilst deciding or not to buy in.
A quick question to current holders please; is there anything you would advise a prospective purchaser to research?
Or, any thoughts on the company good or bad would be gratefully received, many thanks.
Divi dodging worked this time B W F - Well done 👍

Get you. I sold Tuesday pm at 552, put the whole lot back in today at a tad below 510 just after midday. In hindsight should have held out longer to buy back but hey hoo it’s done. After tax and charges I have 7.27% more shares than I had on Tuesday so happy with that. If I had waited to get dividend payment in my ISA to reinvest SP will be higher ( one would hope!) so couldn’t buy as many. That’s my logic, right or wrong only time will tell.
Just sold my BP today and thinking of putting it in here which will more than double what I have .
The divi looks very attractive.
Ah lovely. Thank you.
Don't worry Team. It is a time barred rotation flagged in 2021. Ex KPMG on the board which is likely why they got the gig.
Nope - says it’s on the website but not found it
Anybody been anle to find out the reason for their resignation ?
Pulled the trigger and bought 1679 shares of this at £5.026.
Wasn't going to hang around for 2p.
Have a good weekend.
Gap to close to 493..if that happens I'll double up a very considerable holding already... at over 10% yield they will come back as they always do
