Some Up in PFD Stakeholding for a Possible Takeover Bid looks like. Makes a lot of sense for a" Friendly Bid Now". With rock bottom interest rates, huge PFD cash flows and future sustainable profitability on its way. Also existing long term shareholders (or most shareholders) and I reckon the new management team now would back a Takeover Bid if credible, crystallising Intrinsic value for shareholders and providing it preserves UK jobs ! Premier Food Shares are Too Much Undervalued !!!
Been in , been out but back in for a very large Bundle. Looks to be on the move. Good luck all.
Bid incoming.......!
Nar, they can leave us alone until way after the update in January, pension sorted and the dividend is on the way. Then we will be worth may more. Would be nice to have a divi as well. Been here for years and only capital gain. Not moaning though, what a gain !!! Think some poaitioning is happening though. Trades at the end of the day will be telling. Nice 2.5% rise on the day would be nice. All good up to the january update. 1.10 and beyond, im sure we nearly.got there on the last run up to updates. Still staying in.
takeover bid please...
Yes somethings afoot !
Now would be a great time for a takeover offer of £1.50 and worth every penny as in 6 months this could be worth £2.50.
Nissin brought there shares from standard life directly first time round. could they be up to their old antics again buying directly from major shareholders.
Also with dividends on the horizon. The debt reduction and remodelling of P&L acc. Why would they be reducing their holding now.
Have done exactly the same thing.
They have sold 2% each, and someone bought 4% on Tuesday.
I wonder who ?
Now gone below 10%.
That must explain the large share trades the day before yesterday. I wonder who bought the Oasis shares ?
Are there loads of share trades of 2 and 3 shares going through ?
Another large buy at close, well, not as large as yesterday. All good ??
What about the little trades of £120 or so. Anyone have any insights on this sort of thing?
I would not get too carried away with these trades. In the past big shareholders have transferred shares to banks and then get converted to options, this releases cash, but still allows holding of a shares. My guess is this is Paulson doing this, but time will tell.
Yes someone buying and wants this stock so maybe that's why the sp has been dropped, that's got to have been some of the biggest buying lumps for I don't know when but all good news and may it continue.
£35m bought and it goes down at the end of the day? Conned again.
Looks like someone in the city is impressed. £35mil traded with 3 traded showing as buys?! Could it be nissin closing in on a takeover?
So why the urgent move to pay dividends? we have spent years getting the debt down and just when we see the light of almost no debt and a great springboard to better times someone is asking when we will start paying dividends.
Who is the dividend for the big shareholders or the small pi's or is it just to look good in the city. We have already moved to the 250 market so what's the rush to move onto the top 100 because it won't happen or are they making pfd a great buy for a takeover, but by not paying divi's yet pfd will look even more attractive to someone in another year. Let's get debt down to almost nil first and sp up to £2.50 then see what we do.
it would be a miracle if they clear the debt by next July ! Sorry dividends still appear some way off but def on the cards on this projectory. Nice upswing again.. Making cash on PFD so easy these days. It almost makes up for 10 years plus of hurt. Nearly !!!!!
Thats all I have to say ..........
More likely declaring a dividend when they announce the full year results. That is in may....AGM not until July
seeing why do the restructuring now if looking at dividend next year, they could have done it at the agm after year end, perhaps planning dividends this year. could be announced at xmas trading statement.
Oops,
Should of read “ acquisitions “
Pfd sp does indeed move in mysterious ways
I wonder if they have their eye on any new accusations?
A bit of positive movement now.....fingers crossed
Yes pfd never follow the market and in most cases go up when the market is down.
