Help please....... I love this share and think it has a great PF but I am little concerned about the ongoing financial management costs of the fund, I know all AIM companies have them but as we have no revenues and a tiny market cap will this eat away into our value i.e NAV? Does anyone have the annual costs for PEBI?
Same problem, I only got RNS about holdings from InvestEgate and not one about NAV, it appears to only be on the London stock exchange site, info regarding NAV update. Thanks oldstockbroker for posting update.
Summit is valued more than my estimate-must have bought more, or my shareholding figure was wrong. No matter the fund has performed well and really should be at NAV or a premium-not many funds acheive these sort of returns and future looks good. Happy holder but as always looking for other undervalued asset plays-just gone over-weight in AVAP, have a look if you want-posted some research, but a different asset play than a fund.
Stock Exchange site
RNS? Link to it anyone?
Summit Corporation plc £1,341,666 24.7% Plethora Solutions Holdings plc £968,749 17.8% Arrowhead Research £562,557 10.4% Synergy Pharmaceuticals Inc. £276,949 5.1% Ampliphi Biosciences Corp. £207,319 3.8%. Please to see NAV was in line with estiamte. £3,357,243 61.8
This is embarrassing... I'm registered for email updates on investgate, got the holdings RNS email, but for some inexplicable reason didn't get the one I've been constantly checking for. I've got into a bad habit of relying on the emails rather than the actual sites, my bad!
Net Asset Value calculation to 30 September 2013 Jim Mellon, Chairman, commented: - "The Net Asset Value ("NAV") calculation for the Company as at closing on 30 September 2013 was 17.13 pence per share, including un-invested cash of £742,497 and an accrual of £353,041 for the management fee. The portfolio is valued under IFRS at bid price. This quarter's asset value before management fee represents an increase of 70.9% from the previous valuation of 10.63 pence per share, which included un-invested cash of £707,624. This excellent performance represents increase of 128% over the cash available for investment at inception after listing and operating costs."
What delay ? Out 7.00 am - NAV stands at 17.3 p. The major holdings have potential to drive this far higher.
...And it relates to holdings, again. As for the delay in the NAV update, I would speculate that Mr Lee advised the Board members that he intended on increasing his stake to x and could they therefore please delay the NAV calculation until he his finished buying in order to comply with regulations. Not particularly convincing, but I can't think of any other reason to delay a positive release.
theyre not,but its ok after one month from that date you mentioned....... price sensitive legal eagle stuff.lol.......
A director bought shares on Friday 4th Oct so I'm guessing the update wont be yet I think. I.thought directors were.not.allowed to deal if a release was due.
Wide awake, and have absolutely no idea as to why no NAV update as yet, when we do get it, hopefully will give share price good boost, as stagnating around the 13p-15p mark. Won't be selling any PEBI, yet, still believe it is agreat stock to have in a portfolio
Shan, No reaction over the last 4 days to your posting .I think everyone is gone to sleep
very suprised now no NAV released! gotta be next week! anyone trying guessing as to why it is delayed?
Here's hoping. Frustrating watching it slide slightly from the high of the other week, but I'm confident the NAV will be much higher than the current market price. For that reason I don't really understand the small sells...surely they could wait a couple of days?
Surely must be nav tomorrow methinks. Gone very quiet here!!!
Last year's NAV (for 30/09/12) was released at 14:02 on 5 October. Any day now! Refreshed my emails at 7:05 several times this morning...my money is on Friday. (http://www.londonstockexchange.com/exchange/prices-and-markets/stocks/exchange-insight/company-news.html?fourWayKey=IM00B6QH1J21IMGBXASQ1)
Courtesy of rivaldo This PEBI thread is partly due to its stake in Ampliphi Biosciences (APHB), in which I have a decent-sized holding. The APHB thread is here: http://uk.advfn.com/cmn/fbb/thread.php3?id=25624085 PEBI's m/cap with 33.86m shares in issue is £2.37m at 7p. At 30th June 2013 PEBI had £3.6m net assets, or 10.6p per share, comprising £2.92m of investments and £0.7m of uninvested cash. Largest investments at 30th June 2013: Synergy Pharmaceuticals Inc. 277,748 9.52% (plus £10k of warrants in 2012) Summit Corporation plc 212,500 7.29% (when share price was around 4p, 15p at 20/9/13) Arrowhead Research (ARWR) 207,364 7.11% (when share price was around $2, now $4.75) Plethora Solutions Holdings 166,625 5.71% (when share price was around 2p, now 13p) TrovaGene Inc. 137,224 4.70% Pfizer Inc. 136,562 4.68% Nektar Therapeutics 127,303 4.36% Sanofi-ADR 91,349 3.13% 1,356,675 46.51% Plus Ampliphi Biosciences (APHB) 60,000 (when share price was around 15c, now 55c). rivaldo posted a very informative and comprehensive list a couple pages back
Hi If you check back a couple pages of postings, there is a chart with all the companies and percentages
Can anyone guide me to where I can find a recent list of companies in the Port Erin portfolio? Thanks
Mos, tried checking this guy out last time he increased his holdings, but could not find any info about him
Does anybody know much about Colin Lee? I have tried to find out more about him, but not got anywhere.
