The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Hi - I’m already in AVCT and considering this too if it dips a little. If a vaccine comes quicker than a year what do you think the market for testing will be both antibody & antigen? I imagine worldwide deployment of a vaccine would take a long time
Hants - thanks for the link to the video, I’ve just watched it and it helps my understanding. I suppose the big question is when is ‘over the summer’ is June or early July great if late August still good but risk losing market share to others.
I’m going to watch the sp Monday am and hopefully find a good price, I’d normally just buy in but after the big drop on Thursday just want to see if the price stables a little.
Been looking at competitors and the closest I’ve found is this ‘ DnaNudge Lab-in-Cartridge test’ it says test result in just over one hour but no lab needed, is there any other advantage with Avacta other than time (Avacta is circa 10mins).
All,
I’ve been researching this for a week or so and it does sound very promising in the short term and if successful demand with be high (although lots of competition). I’m not medical expert but surely once the vaccine becomes available the demand will massively drop so even though this is excellent for man kind and 100% the right thing to do will the revenues only be limited to 2020/21 then disappear to due everyone having a vaccine, any views?
Investment of mine
Big holding here to me, no downside at all + decent upside IMO. Very very low risk
We can sell at NAV, great opportunity.
Why the rise?
