All systems go! go!! go!!!
I bought back in as well today :) Saddle up - we're heading North :) GLA :)
I think I just saw a flying kitchen sink Technie :)
Thanks Technie- will be nice to be into the 500's - of course news of M&A and I expect us to go much higher.
480 was first target and was hit on the breakout. I'm not in front of a chart but from memory 520 looks like it may offer some resistance. 540 is my preferred first target area. I will be throwing the kitchen sink at this on a retest of 465. GLA
Please mind the gap, the train is ready to depart, the next stop is Five Pound.
@Technie - great to see you back posting - where do you see the next level of resistence ?
On 19th Oct 2016 PAYS reached an all time high closing at 469p. Today it broke that high, and (subject to the closing price) that can only mean one thing. #bullish
At last a new high has been hit ,next stop £5+.
Almost as if the buy backs had started again?
Here's hoping so nen2319 !! interestingly : * Oxford Asset mngmt has cut reported short to below the reportable level * was the RNS back in April a requirement for others to be willing to execute on "bold M&A" - if not then why the detailed RNS ? * neither JL nor BM-M(CFO) sold any of their LTIP shares last time even to cover tax liabilities - guessing they see a much higher sp on the horizon..... * PYPL and Wirecard have both reported stellar Qtr 1 results of +31% & 21% - so we should beat our "low double digit"
Wolfhound, Do you think it's significant at all that Joel has now repaid the loan and has his shares back under his control before the AGM?
I remember suggesting MV growth on this level last year and was roundly ridiculed (by some, but not you Wolfie). I can see a bid coming in the next 12-months as there must be more than a few looking at the earnings potential with envy and, at the moment, PAYS is relatively cheap. I'd like to see an international marketing campaign advertising the benefit of Skrill to a mass (untouched) audience - it would be a good use of profits rather than amassing a cash-pile, or snapping-up another tiddler.
AGM is only a little over a week away so if there is going to be news we won't have long to go. Qtr 1 trading updates from Paypal ( +21% revenues) and Wirecard ( 30%) aurgur well for the sector - so at a minimum we have 5 -10 % But PAYS is trading at PE of 11 to PE of 27 for Wirecard and 41 for Paypal - so unless PAYS executes a deal soon it could very well be on the end of a bid from someone else - under a more diverse revenue group PAYS would be worth more than double and close to triple current value IMHO We have roughly the same revenue and profitability as Wirecard yet we trade at PE of 11 to their PE of 27 - PAYS MV= €2.6bn -v- Wirecards MV of €6 bn - hard to justify IMHO.
Looks to me that this is just treading water waiting for news to move it! M&A? Dividends? Take over? What do people think?
Yep - looks like we are nicely set up for a nice leg up as a minimum, maybe more :) .... tomorrow of course sees the closing of the door on EFH....but as they say when one door closes another one opens.....here's hoping it has M&A written on it :)
The start of the week was indeed interesting! Let's see what the rest if the week brings more importantly...
Agreed - feels like a bit of a tree shake to me - I wonder will start of next week be interesting GLA
Most of the drop is due to a Broker Downgrade by Macquarie to a Neutral at 480, rather severe I think
Was expecting a drop back to around 450 did not realise went back to 440 i would have brought back in at that price seems to be rallying back up now!
Pleas tell me that this price drop has got nothing to do with it being the day the CEO pays back that share loan from a couple of years ago? I think repayment day is today. Surely the markets are not that stupid and fickle they see mention of the repayment and misinterpret it?
Maybe to do with the pound - analysts are talking about 1.34 plus in the next 3-4 weeks.
https://calvinayre.com/2017/04/19/press-releases/infinity-gaming-solutions-launches-managed-affiliate-programme-paysafes-income-access/ But i cannot see how this would negatively impact on share price
