Trading restarts Wednesday. Be an interesting day. With a high percentage of stock in sticky hands I think there’ll be liquidity issues here. Remains to be seen if that favours holders yet but I’m reasonably optimistic. Doc Holliday appears to be bullish.
The fundamentals of the project do appear to be sound and promising. Considerable exploration upside + decent news flow (if company are to be believed)
Low share issue once consolidated and very low free float....It goes well from here
And it did! All good and set for a return to trading on Wednesday morning.
Sure it’ll get the backing required!
Capital metals now has a twitter account.
Interesting podcast from doc holiday this evening regarding PAL (capital metals).
Starts talking about PAL at 11 minutes in if you are interested to listen.
Evening Daltp98,
Yes I am happy to let this play out over the year to see whether they can meet their production target for 2022. Fingers crossed it gathers pace over the next 6 - 12 months.
Airbourne,
I have just looked into that article you mentioned. Looks like that Environmental Minister was not happy. Businessmen and Entrepreneurs were buying the mining permits dirt cheap and then flogging them on for massive profits. The EM vowed to streamline mineral exploitation and introduce new laws if need be to make mineral resources one of the major export industries.
Bodes well but CML might have to pay top dollar for any future permits if the EM is now getting a grip.
Evening atom72 I too have the same average as you at 1.1p. Possibly this will open up down, if it does I will buy some more. I'm willing to wait 12 months for a good return. Too many people hoping for a multi bagger on day one!
Beaaaudiful average that Dibs, I’m jealous.
I’m in at the old 1.1 so will have to bide my time til it rises above 22.
This could very well drop to the placing price of 12p post consolidation but I can’t see it hanging round there for long.
This share will appeal to the mid to long termers so may need a few weeks to get full exposure and rise above the radar.
Early positive news from CML (or is CMET now) is what is needed and this will bounce from the suspension price.
Hopefully attract the interest of the majors in due course to avoid the need for further fund raising.
Only a small percentage has been explored to date. If they have continued success with further exploration work this could get too big for CML to take to production on their own so you never know, could be a JV or take over on the cards next year.
CML have a resource in demand and plenty of it by all accounts. We need this to run smoothly with no delays on licenses/permits etc....and with little obstacles in the way.
I’m not going to worry too much bout the SP until the end of the month, give the market chance to take note.
All the hype is building though.
ATB
Legacy results out today. More interested in the project and RTO stuff than old financials in this particular case.
SP was roughly 0.75 when shares were suspended which is equivalent to a ‘new’ CML SP of 15p.
So I will be a bit disappointed shall we say if my new shares open at a 20% discount to that before RTO all things considered. Coincidentally my average here is actually 0.6 (or 12p in new money) but i won’t be the only disappointed investor if it opens at 12p.
Any other views?
Very good points Dibs61. And reflecting that KLKI need this to be at 5p to break even (post consolidation - 100p), the fact that the corporate world is ruthless so I’m sure those who are behind this deal within KLKI are rather motivated to get their investment back to flat (at the very least!) at the earliest opportunity. A few days and we shall see...
If you are a long term investor then this looks like a very attractive investment. Strong backing. Sound plan. Project reasonably advanced already. Shallow HIGH grade deposits and only literally scratched the surface.
And perhaps most importantly many commentators suggest we are entering a Resources bull market.
Looking forward to next week and will hold and see what happens. In any case may not have any choice until stock is added to my account.
Quick google news: “ Environment Minister Mahinda Amaraweera issued an ultimatum yesterday to those who have obtained permits to conduct mineral resources excavation in Sri Lanka but failed to carry out any excavation for years.
He warned that their permits would be rescinded unless they start excavation for mineral resources immediately. ”
Some sense of urgency. I have a suspicion this is going to shift into gear quickly and next week could prove interesting.
Atom ,
He is following me that DOc !!! I have his followers all over CCAP :((((( honestly that man I would love to meet on the street lol.
I don’t think this will bag from opening but definitely over the year should do well as don’t forget they need licenses etc to get going first but looks good. A good few of us and not including doc seem this months before suspension so thankfully it has come good :) good luck to all holders old and new
Doc tipped lower than that from memory, as I purchased two tranches. But hey short term upside great. Will be an interesting week.
I have about a 1p average after buying three lots (one the day before suspension). I hope it comes good!
Ssshhhhh don’t tell “Iknownuffin”, it wont go down well.
Spose it all depends what price you bought in at.
Think Doc tipped it around the old 1 - 1.1p stage and it dropped to 0.75p before suspension.
Those in just before suspension could be in for a multi-bagger this year.
Dont forget KLK average is around 5p pre-consolidation.
Bring on next week !
Doc holiday posted on twitter today, regarding next week when this share is unsuspended.
He stated it will be incredibly interesting and predicts a quick big win for those that bought in before suspension!
He did have a good strike rate , then started liking the sound of his own voice too much :) to be fair it wasn’t hard to get this one bang on after suspension !! I along with lots of others knew what was coming before suspension that is exactly why we bought in. Doc is trying to be like sports chris, gaining a following to gain sentiment when they mention a company or invest in such creating an upside to lay big money in for short and sharp return then gone.
Cynical I’m not , been watching these so called “ experts “ for quite some time. They do exactly as above simple as that which I don’t want to be affiliated with .
Ha, ha..........very cynical Iknownuffin !
He’s got a good strike rate and you could do alot worse than follow his tips !
Looks like he called this one right, O.K. not near the suspension price but still money to be made here I rec.
ATB
I would rather be shot than follow mr agenda doc Holliday thanks :)
getting a vote at this gm?
The mining sector did 5.3% today - a favourable scene for CML - I have a feeling that we could be quite relieved with how CML performs from next Wednesday!
11th Jan - GM re Capital Metals acquisition and name change
So all eyes on the 13th of January. I have missed the share price action!. It seems no one has a clue what value this new company will be this month, hope it is worth the wait?!?
