The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Ando,
I really hope you are right as I've been in this since the PAL days when it got suspended for months !
However, your post on 12th April said the JV had already been 'rubber stamped' and will be confirmed in an RNS this Friday. If a signed deal has been agreed then it doesn't matter whether another party comes in with a much improved offer. The deal has already been done.
Let's have a bit of consistency BlaggerMan :-)

TimeLord,
SV has got history, check her posts here over the last couple of months.
Just plucks random figures out of the air and can't stop her fingers from typing them !
Full of BS and nonsense which is not what the board needs.

99icecream,
This is the concern I have as I’ve seen it before with SOLG.
I was in SOLG around 8p and it went as high as mid-40’s when they had a massive find. They didnt sell and it ended with placing after placing and its now 14p years on. I got out around 20p-ish.
Like you say, the more EEE prove it up with figures then bigger the price tag but this could take years with the size of it.
The game of chess will start back end of this year/early next year when the majors start hovering ready to swoop.
ATB
99ice cream,
EEE are an exploration company and not a mining company.
EEE do not have the manpower or funding to tackle this monster on their own. Majors will know that and as such have them over a barrel when it comes to negotiations re: take over of the project.
Personally I hope they just sell on for a mutually agreeable settlement because if this is an inverted Mount Everest (or whatever was said) then it will take a massive drilling programme to fully prove up which wont be done overnight.
ATB
I have said this before and will say it again.
Fingers crossed they just get rid once they have proved it up.
I have seen this before when SOLG unearthed their own monster. SOLG are explorers like EEE and the SP spiked but then steadily declined when they didnt sell on and obviously needed more funds to prove their monster find up.
The majors will want to know exactly what they are dealing with which unfortunately may take time and placings.
Hopefully a major will make a very tempting offer to EEE early doors which will benefit all parties concerned……oh and us greedy shareholders waiting patiently.
ATB
Only concern here is if EEE decide to tackle this monster on their own.
I was in SOLGOLD few years back when they discovered their own monster. SOLG is an explorer just like EEE but they decided against selling on.
SP went over 40p at one stage and looked like it wouldnt stop but SOLG kept hold off their find. No take over or JV from what I recall.
SP is now circa 15p.
Only concern with EEE is that they go the same way and dont sell on or entertain a JV. More exploration means more funding over the next couple of years and some majors may not put a bid in until the pure size of the monster is known.
I know EEE are fully funded for time being but this inverted Mount Everest is gunna take some quantifying and it wont be done quickly IMO.
ATB
I’ve just looked into my history and I’m sure this opened up around the 12-15p region when the suspension was lifted.
Its now just over 1p.
Just WOW……what a shocking performance from a company. Truly disgraceful.
There were serious backers from the PAL days when the SP was well over 20p (equivalent) so you would hope they will hang in here for some reward.
are the big chinese investors still on board ?
i’ve been in this pile of ****e since the pal days.
suspension lifted, cmet born and they’ve absolutely sapped the life out of the sp since.
whilst people wait, have a quick look at empire metals (eee). i’ve been in that for a while too and the monster has started to wake.
get any spare cash you have in that and sit back.
it is very likely to pay out alot quicker than cmet.

Oh dear, just seen the BBC news.
Sri Lanka in an absolute mess !
More chance of Frayne becoming the next Prime Minster of Sri Lanka than CMET going into production by year end.
I’m not a fan of Frayne but in his defence he’s been dealt a bad hand.
Bottom drawer til next year and wait for a new pack of cards !
The market won’t like the media scenes and the SP will go lower unfortunately. $hit$how.
All the Best.
Bigdadbob,
If this was a sole project then you would have expected due diligence to have taken place to overcome the various obstacles to expedite the process of discovery to production.
This is a case of the tail wagging the dog instead of the dog wagging the tail.
A decent CEO makes things happen.
Money talks.
Time to start hobnobbing with the right people and leaving briefcases by park benches.
I’m a glass half full sort of person but this share drags like a seals @rse !
3 trades all day and that was probably a MM messing about trying to look busy.
This is not a share that is acting like CMET are taking this to production by year end.
Its been butchered by nigh on 50% since the suspension of PAL was lifted early 2021.
Frayne set CMET up in 2015 for the sole purpose of this mineral sands project. If I’d have gone to that Sri Lankan beach every day for 3 months of the year since 2015 I’d have squirrelled enough of that heavy mineralised sand by now to make me rich.
No need for IML.
Bucket and spade and torch.
There is more sand in my suitcases in the loft than what CMET have got out of the ground in 7 years. I’d say my ‘eggtimer’ but I’ll give Frayne the benefit of the doubt as he might just beat me on that one.
Keeping the faith as I know that KLK are still in the background.
ATB
That RNS is embarrassing.
Well my mate Dave’s Auntie Ethel, she’s got a neighbour who has done his own initiation research and believes fair value to be 74p.
It doesnt matter what individuals and/or certain companies believe is ‘fair value’, it’s what the market believes and currently the market hasn’t got much faith in CMET.
This will no doubt change as the project progresses next year but putting out a desperate RNS like that is pointless and frustrating for shareholders !
All the Best.
