I was trawling through those RURELEC releases today, to see how the Oxus release might compare to that... in the one in January 2014, this made me chuckle a bit: "Shareholders in Rurelec should note that this new timetable for the award announcement is shorter than the seven day timetable originally agreed through the offices of the PCA during the course of 2013 and reflects the fact that shareholders have already suffered from uncertainty as to the outcome of the arbitration for more than eight months following the final arbitration hearing in Paris in April 2013." PI's suffering for eight months from final hearing!! Try 19 months, and still counting!! Must be coming soon here :) Nice Weekend All.
my old gran would have said of RAB's sell it aint nothing but a cats lick There was some conspiracy theories about Trident on ADVFN a few weeks ago regarding The Uzbeks not sure if there could be any substance in it

Hi Nervous - Yes it's promising with RAB, as they've only sold a handful..Trident? maybe Swainer..was looking more at the 13.52 timed ones.. But there's a few each way going through cheers
Why has everyone forgotten Trident , they've got 70 million of these if my memory serves me . No holding RNS from them , so we don't know if they are the sellers . Looks to me like RAB are holding this time .
All the 100 and 150K sells in the 12-13.00 were actually buys.
I do think that RAB are basically selling when this gets to 4p+ I'm not so sure they are concerned with holding for a result or not - just seems that when 4p is hit, there seems to be quite a few 150,000 etc block sells triggered. The RNS about RAB hardly reducing their holding is agnostic to me- I'm not really reading anything into that regarding confidence of a win
thank you. and yes it would be fantastic.
OK thanks Petty. Not sure you completely alluded to this point in previous posts about the contents of the phonecall but I think it is a very umportant one indeed. GLM
Yep, just been offered 4.07 to sell on Halifax GLA
Not seen for a while... 4.07/4.2 - People I think are hoping the "very near" future could be today? GLA
In context of the conversation (and I didn't write anything down, so I suppose it's open to interpretation)...it was that something has been passed on by the Panel (through the lawyers) The statement really doesn't add much to what Ruby and Lselee (or Luckyman0 - sorry cant remember who) said really.. But I do think they have been given an indication ala Rurelec regarding a result coming soon.
Just picking up on Petty's earlier post which stated:- "b) They had been told something specific that it was going to be in the very near future.. and he said "The latter"...which I confirmed as being being b) He also used to word "imminent". Although from this we do not know who had been doing the telling, it would seem probable that it was Calinus, since other posters who phoned previously, mentioned that RS implied it came from our lawyers so this would be an identical story. The question is on what basis Calinus believe that 'very near' is true. Is it a question of knowledge of procedures or is it something that the panel has identified to them for some reason? Orientfrance just musing.....!
Happy Birthday R2R. Enjoy your fry-up and beers. Wouldn't it be nice to come back later and get an after-hours winning arbitration announcement... on your birthday?? :) Stranger things have happened.
Also the stated 1.1million of sells is B0ll0cks ... More like 247K ;)
buys showing on L2... tried some dummy sells on 400K and been offered 3.91.... Tried a buy and was given best offer .. Something brewing i'd say! Or could be wishful thinking ;)
after spending the morning fasting for a blood sugar test and being teased by yet another boring holdings RNS I think im gonna enjoy a fry-up and have a beer or two, forget about oxs and just enjoy the rest of the day
There is so little information that the BoD can give, that every word RS issues in an RNS must be taken very seriously - we know that and so does he. When he wrote "In the very near future" he must have had some sort of notification from the arbitration panel that the result was imminent. I do not believe there was some plan to get the s/p up to let RAB out or get better loan note terms. From what I have seen RS does not operate like that. So I agree with you guys it will be soon, it may go on until after Christmas, as I do not think RS has been given a specific date (certainly at the time of the 30/9/15 RNS). My bet was also sometime in November, but after holding for 3 years (and I know many have been in much longer), I am prepared to wait for as long as it takes.
Thanks Petty - that makes me more confident whilst losing the will to live here. Surely if Shead himself confirmed that he used those words for a reason; and that the verdict was imminent, then we won't still be here at Xmas. From the Collins dictionary - Imminent: adjective Liable to happen soon; impending How soon is soon? Very near future was over 7 weeks ago... Perhaps as in the case of Rurelec, the board have been given a notice by the tribunal to expect the verdict within 6 weeks? We are now over that period but Rurelec was also over the time they were given. Interesting times... I'm still betting on a November verdict. 6 working days and counting. .. tick. ..tock. ..
Anyway, back to important things for us on Planet Greed and Fear .. Of course the Bod could still be playing a canny game with words, but I'm trying to take Mr W at his word at this moment. The problem is without knowing the man, and he being wary of me/us, it's hard to judge how people behave in first conversations where suspiciojns abound, but I'm trusting him Maybe Ruby has built up more of a relationship with them - if, in fact Ruby isn't Mr Shead (I still have my suspicions Ruby...Richard Shead's probably laughing this theory out 'the room! ) Out of interest this is pretty much verbatim what was said about the "very near" future in the conversation I had: I asked whether Mr Shead had used that phrase because a) We are in the median/mean time from an Arbitration Panel meeting to concluding, so basically the statement was based on past case lengths ..or b) They had been told something specific that it was going to be in the very near future.. and he said "The latter"...which I confirmed as being being b) He also used to word "imminent".. anyhow, can't really add any more really..maybe we'll still be here at Christmas Good luck all
To be fair we had one yesterday and today we had an RNS. Another two today so perhaps an after hours or Monday RNS? I freaking hope so!!!
