I would agree re the polymetal share price our 1,405,000 polymetal shares are currently worth just over 12.1m this has dropped some what from the 14m earlier last year. That said its still significantly higher than the OVG market cap. The dividend of $ 0.14 per share based on last year is probably used for office stationary!
They've got a trading announcement tomorrow, not sure if that will include dividend news. Oli - reckon the POLY sp and divi's are very important to OVG, particularly, I suppose, the sp
Costello, the polymetal dividend Ovoca receives is hardly a huge sum of money in the grand scheme of things. That said, cash burn is something I have looked at closely and while it is higher than what you would expect for what is essentially a Holdco it is not alarming. One theory is that the directors bleed the company dry over the next 5 years however it would be much more effective for them to just push through an offer for say 15p to buy the shares they dont own something that they could do IF some funds are received from the Taymura settlement. If I shared your belief I would SELL now and move on, whats the point in holding a share you think will fall due to the actions of poor management. Best of luck either way Costello.
Unfortunately every year that goes by the directors are getting their boots filled with polymetal divis. The worth of of this company is being depleted. That ×3 will be ×2 in what a years time or more. And there's nothing we can do about it.
15,000k x 2 just put through sub 11p - hopefully a tick up soon.
http://bankrot.fedresurs.ru/MessageWindow.aspx?ID=5553142D2D5D9FCB6034E450ACC52CE3 The next creditors of Taymura meeting will be held on the 25th January 3pm. Hopefully the Taymura saga will be over soon (Q1 2018) and Ovoca can then decide on a strategy.
Costello the current SP barely reflects the cash assets OVG holds. If we get nothing back re Taymura then it's priced in. Granted negative sentiment could cause the price to fall....5p would be a fill your boots moment given what the market capitalisation would then be vs assets. Keep the faith.
And if they don't get the oil assets? Down to 5p.
I anticipate the price will firm up shortly as the Taymura news draws closer. A good time to jump onboard before she rockets upwards again. DYOR.
Seems to be holding above 10p .... hopefully the steady rise to end of the court case will restart now. Even if they don't get another penny from Taymura then the end of the court case will allow management to do one of the things mentioned at the ag: a special div (or a share buy back) or invest in another project (or could even do a mgt buy out) ... either way that should get the sp to be 20p + (ie reflecting cash & poly share value) Or, as you say Oli12, they could win from the court case and get the Taymura oil assets and its game on for sp's above the 20's Exciting times ahead for patient holders
Costello, I am sure your long arduous wait here will be rewarded shortly. Just dont sell too soon as IF the CEO can pull a rabbit out of the hat re the Taymura oil assets then this will be worth significantly more than 20p. Best of luck to you for 2018 with OVG.
Here's hoping this share will have a better year than last. If it doubles I'm off.
I dont expect much more of a fall, perhaps bid:ask to 9.5p:10.5p before we find a few more buyers gearing up for some news Lennie
nice 50k buy to support the SP. will she hold the 10p.... expect some news in Q1 that will get us over the 20p and nearer NAV.
Looks like they only sold half so a bit of top slicing going on Lennie
A profit is a profit, let’s hope they wished they had held come Q1 2018. Not many have made a profit in OVG!
Well he/she made a good profit as they bought those on 21st September for £21.71k and sold for £26.02k, a tidy £4.31k profit. Hoping that's the seller out of the way and a few shares for the MM's to play with and we will now grow steadily back towards 15p Lennie
That large trade at 10p sucked what remaining life the SP had out of it. Maybe the seller has now cleared and this can try to keep some of last week's gains...lets see.
Just topped up 2 x 25k trades.......should be some support around 10-11p and hopefully we'll now build at a more steady pace in the next few months Lennie
OMG, just read your last few weeks postings. I bet you’re the life of the party ! You need to take some happy pills, there’s plenty out there Happy Christmas Lennie
Up down, more down. As usual. The directors are doing well-fitting off the dividends from polymetal. And all the while the cash depreciates. Nice job. Can I be a director?
Not to worry Oli12 .. we are still way up on the AGM and the business' assets are still >3x the market cap ... so we just have to wait a little longer ...patience is fine ... I will keeping adding a few whilst its cheap
I think we went up too quickly so a natural correction for profit taking. Still exceptionally undervalued and I think the rise will hopefully continue towards the outcome of the legal case. DYOR Lennie
