Well after my excitement on Friday, this week has been dire. Not sure what has changed the sentiment here.
We have seen the CEO buy shares in the last week, it would be nice to see Ms Talintyre (CFO) show some faith by buying OSB shares.
Exciting times here. Kind of a shame it's the weekend.
Plenty more near-term recovery to come here.
Wow, I was not expecting a broker upgrade. Really goes to show how oversold this is.
Thank you

Railride, you sound like a seller trying to convince himself he's done the right thing. Fair enough. It's fine that you're drinking the bearish anti-bank, anti-housing Kool-aid; you're not alone. But these things are all cyclical and almost always way over-done. especially when they play out in the media. I suspect before long you'll be wondering why on earth you sold up in the 300s.
It was well overdone thats why i bought at 340 but profit made for me and to be fair im negative on all banks i read the 2009 new banking act on bail in,s shocking i tread very carefully but good luck to all holders.
Wasn't the best but the drop was over done, so it should continue to rise.
They say they are now number4 in the BTL market but the givernment have been putting many obsticles in the way of landlords who most look for a return of 5/6 %yeild large gains in capital is now over at these price so why all the hassle when you can sell up pay of the loan on get 5% locking you profit away with no hassles .so more paying back to OSB and savers who have locked in for a decent rate says to me OSB is now in for a very rocky ride in the near term until property prices rerate the government ease up on BLT and the BOE ease up on interest rates .5/6% was the norm for me but my mortgage was 32k but 300k plus thats a crippler.JMO do you reserch i just see tough years ahead for all involved,
"The declared dividend will be paid on 20 September 2023, with an ex-dividend date of 24 August 2023 and a record date of 25 August 2023."
Sorry for being lazy, but I can't access the full results due to a poor connection. Does anyone know the ex divi date please? Good to see interim dividend rising.
Anybody's guess what we'll get tomorrow. Price-wise that is. I'm expecting good results and I note the price veered away upward from the rest of the banking sector this afternoon.
But then looking over the financial services fence at Hiscox today, fabulous results turned into a bargain hunter's delight on the price, so you never can tell.
Interimz tomorrow !
Not such a fun day in the banking sector today. Let's see what tomorrow brings.
Yes, all seems good to me and p/e ratio is well below previous levels and below other banks. I'm expecting a repeat of steady price recovery that we've seen following previous overdone falls.
Going to be interesting !
Very satisfactory : )
It's turned the corner, overall it's going in the right direction now , slower rise is a stronger one ;)
You jinxed it π
Getting better everyday !
Yes, there's only one way this going. Look forward to the half year results coming out.
Nice to finish above the recent intraday high. Itβs still a steal for anyone to come in at these prices, and I think the market knows it. Despite some of the idiots on here, it was clearly oversold. We should get back to where we were sooner rather than later and all of us who took the opportunity to average down will have done pretty well.
