Hi, Legal
The answer to the question is, it might reach 35, because that's what it reached before in October 2020 and February 2021 (when it was driven by what Alan Greenspan called "irrational exuberance"). But a lot of us will get out at 20, and count ourselves lucky to have done so.

I agree Legal, true value can far be exceeded when excitement and the herd arrives. Look at GGP for instance hitting £1.5b. I know that’s a rarity but just an example of the top of my head. I’ll give it a watch Imp 😁
I don’t think this run is going to be about mcap. Anza is going to take years of drilling etc to establish its vale. I think the trend (ie share price) in 2024 is going to be driven more by strength of the gold sector, FOMO and exuberance. If OMI gets to previous highs, that will be driven by this herd mentality rather than more rational assessment of the fundamentals.
The big question is what heights will it reach in 2024 and driven by this exuberance?
Seingred thanks and good luck on the plastering, first time ever I herd you say positive things. Agree with most things you say. Still think you under estimate the market and how gold and miners could perform. Think you only looking at the past and not what could happen here in the miners. Agreed on sell on news and see how sp goes. nobody can get it right all time.
Thanks and good luck to everyone. maybe miners and gold could be the next bitcoin ish. government debt only going up one way. QE4 will come to wash away the debt.
Hi Rob. Glad you have had a holiday and daughter gets house. I have a big ceiling to plaster in next couple of days. Hard going when you get older.
Banks independent from gvnt , central banks problem is paying massive debt and issuing bonds. Think rates will reduce just not as quick as perhaps hoped.
Anyhow, Omi, I don’t think I only give negative I just say what I see. Personally I have added, even switched some out of Cnr into here but still modest holding compared to many here but keeping my average below 4 p . Not bringing it down . I have been bottom fishing gradually for ages but added reasonable this week and la bit last week.
The positives are deffo getting control of asset, gold price getting strong and as I say if funding can be found early stage exploration is the best rewarded . I will look to trade spikes which I would expect if a decent drilling campaign is carried out.
I am however a bit cautious as ever on projected timelines and wait to see how successful the cash raises are. Cash raises early doors with results are good for do. Later there will be lots of extra drilling to prove up resource which may not be so productive on sp. So I am looking for as quick an exit as possible, for stake bavk then see what happens.
There are quality producers being sold like Shg for £150 m so I discount talk of £80 m but for sure as before we could well see a few overshooting spikes. It’s only profit when it’s in da bank!
Got room for a bit more here yet but don’t have a lot of disposable so have to trade or swap things around.
G luck rob and everybody. Fingers crossed.
Good post Doc. Congrats Rob.
Cheers Bhargav, would be nice daughter just bought her first house so another project on horizon for me.
Seingred election year in uk and America perhaps you are right and rates will climate and climate to slow growth down and cause a bigger recession. then lots of voters will vote for the government in, makes alot of sense to me. Cause more pain then put rates up and ask people to vote for them.
Im with you Seingred on this one.
I used to the think the JV was the best thing since sliced bread. Free exploration, payments to Orosur Etc. now I see it as it was, a huge hindrance, with the majors only one intention of taking as much as possible for as little as possible. Not that’s out the way Brad and co can pave there own way and show Anza in the public spotlight rather than keeping it in the shadows. With the easing Gold price and Colombia moving back in the right direction and think the board will have numerous offers and suitors to move the project forward once Pepas has shown its hand. Next week should be interesting. I think he’ll deliver the RNS earlier than stated for once rather than missing the deadlines. Still an excellent buy price at £7m market cap, remember this achieved a £80m market cap in a much gloomier climate.
Rob,
I know what you mean of the past interviews...
I prefer not to respond it fully at this point of time.
Next a few months shall see interesting newsflow..
Hopefully some credibility will be restored.
We're here to make money, and not to donate it to clowns.
All for ANZA.
Gl.
Chicken must agree I also watched interview again last night as last week was on holiday and thought that too. However I was abroad last week and picked up interview maybe from a recent passed one. but would have swore that brad said that in a interview.
Still think the JV payments were not very much in comparison to but they were getting from us. 4m a year peanuts and 20m over 4years. my view is they broke the agreement and yes we getting 100% back which should have been a no brainer.
If share prices zooms over next month or 2 I think it would be wise of brad to raise again while ashes hot and sp high. but this time more shares and maybe 4 or 5m cash would see drilling in south later in year.
Fingers crossed its a rich news period. my timings terrible away abroad again in 3 weeks time last week in April maybe a few fireworks could pop.
That Omi out their foot down on this aspect and would only entertain at the original agreement terms. Perhaps Agnico were trying to hardball Omi? Maybe Brad is playing hard ball with them? Maybe Brad had enough being gagged? Maybe drill king brad thinks he is a better driller and is frustrated at the way Agnico lead on things. Anyhow once at 100pc they could possibly re-negotiate or negotiate with other candidates, that is if they want to.
Obviously both have there positives and negatives.
Rob must have watched a different video :D. Didn't hear anything about sharing the costs etc. Are you sure you watched the right one? I actually watched it again, just to make sure.
Agnico were brought in because of the geological know how working in similar deposits and they have experience working in this particular area and Colombia.
Poor Newmont didn't need Agnico cause they couldn't afford it, nor Agnico couldn't do it alone etc. Newmont were also put off a little with the safety issue in Colombia and so due to safety issue/ experience that was why Agnico were brought in.
My understanding is, Agnico wanted to stay with the project, but at different terms to "the agreement". I think
A few things from brads interview last week what he said.
He said Newmont brought in Agnico to share costs as they were buying newcrest. Well I though that happened in last 12 months so long before the Newcrest deal. Also Brad said that Agnico would not be able to fund all exploration on their own. Poor Agnico they only have an exploration budget of 350m per year and only third or fourth biggest gold miner in world. So if they cant afford it then god help us. i mean they were only putting in a huge 2m dollars ayear for first 2 years. thats mega with 350m budget.
So little omi with no cash can lead way where Agnico and Newmont coud not. Also that brad may get back all the drilling and testing work thats been done later in year, why not immediately and why have we not received it along time ago.
Any way I think that theres a good chance we could get a JV partner or a new partner who may wish to explore part of the 8 areas we have. If not the elephant country here we come and Brad will want to get that share price as high as he can so he can issue shares.
Two good things we have our 100% back of Anza and also the gold price is zooming over next few years which will play in our favour. What you say Dr Rimington or Mr Chicken or Bhargav.
The wind is behind us and we starting to fly.
Agree Rob-
Pepas will be used as a catalyst to stir the pot, but more time to develop a story/ hopefully some credibility to drill the better areas of south....they will raid their piggy bank.... release the elephant ramp to heavens...
If they can't find a compatible partner to fund in 3-4 months time....I would expect another placement at much higher price around end of the July- early Aug mark.....
In the meantime....fill your boots. 5-10p in coming in April- May, possibly 10-15-20 afterwards....
As PI, you need to strike when the iron rod is getting hot.
Gold price moving up may help to set some narrative....but pump will come from BoD themselves...
And of course, our Chicken in free range 😂
Seingred must be killing himself with some of comments on here. Yes we all excited and yes this is no Buritica or collective which is a 2billion company or more. Yes Anza is early stage 8m mc but elephant dont gallop but omi could. i think Brad will talk it up elephant country is back and when share price is twice three times quadruple todays price he will quickly raise cash to drill other southern areas.
Lets be sensible our fantastic partners only put in 4million per year and we could easily raise this and much more when share price is booming. This is what I think will happen brad will raise in next 4 to 6 months so we can drill other areas. We all thought Newmont the powerful Newmont and Agnico were the best things since slice bread but it was more problems with them. Brad can call it as he sees it now and yes I think the directors will raid their piggy banks and buy shares in omi at this price which is a gift in comparison to what it has been in past.
Even my friend Seingred who never says anything positive only negatives is buying in the back ground bring is average down. Lots here will be like Seingred once they have doubled quadrupled there cash will top slice or sell out all together. Some like Wolfy will sell out at his 6p entry. All positives on here.
Now people saying gold hitting all time highs, well I told you this last year and it will go much higher over next 18 months. Seingred bet still open if you think rates going up. Give it 4 to 6 months and rates will fall and that is great for gold and gold miners. my forecast for gold is 2535 with in 18 months and much much higher in next 3 to 5 years.
Remember worlds debt only going one way up in trillions not billions but trillions.
In my case, be greedy when others are fearful....and greedier when others are greedy....don't know any other way 😝
Save some shares for folks bhargav :D
It's a matter of margins and the feel good story is back. Gold is flying. Anza about to start it's engines. Broom broom. Omi has a new engine and it's tuned to make lap records at the Mid Cauca belt circuit. Rev your engines. Bhargav save some shared folks, stop being so greedy.
Releasing some fund from my tightly guarded closet....April- May shall be interesting times to see some surge....so happy to break my rules at times, however not often.
Politicians come and go, BoD come and go.... gauge the opportunity of the moment to implement survival of the fittest strategy. Odds are in favour it seems.
All for ANZA
U found some money down the back on the sofa bhargav?
Advance notice:
Clock goes forward tonight.... therefore I'll be topping up on 7am equivalent on Tuesday 2nd April morning.
😁
dr rimington, not posted as just back from a holiday in sun.
great news on brad getting anza back nobody more happy than me and bhargav, just want to congratulate all those that bought low mr chicken yourself bhargav impy and especially karl great work. ive bought some but not as many as i would have liked because of the property ive been renovating but do have quite a few.
hope the shareprice roars ahead just like mr chicken crowing like a ****erill taking over from bhargav. whose been a bit quiet on brad this week.
lets hope this is the start of great things to come we definitely been through the mill and back.
we may even see brad buying a few shares, but then he is a very poor ceo but at this price its alot cheaper than lots of us who has bought right upto 44p so knocking off 40p is a bargin.
speak later in week as only just got back.
Yes Impe got to agree with you there, luv Brad or hate him he's the man for the job, no one knows Anza better than him, that's his passion, his little baby(or should I say his big big baby) we shall see but have to admit I'm very excited for the future of omi, may the good times return gla.
I very much hope that if or when there is a joint venture, Brad remains in charge of exploration and development. He knows more about the geology of Anza than anyone else; and presumably will take decisions about where, how and when to drill in the interests of OMI, rather than some larger company.
It's been a frustrating journey with ups and downs mainly downs. The company has clearly not been able to be the company it wants to be and at times the board have been questioned...Many times. Genuinely I've always thought deep down Louis and Brad want to build something and expected phase 2 to go through. They were probably blindsided when it was clear it didn't happen. They are working hard at the moment and they've played a blinder getting the project back 100pc. All LTH have probably went through the range of emotions, questioning each others motives and such like but it seems everyone is aligned and are positive for the future now. That's no mean feat and if the next few months weren't going to be positive and Pepas drills sensational we would be calling them out I am pretty sure. Everyone is aligned in thinking that. Even the most critical of posters.... they deserve the clean slate as it's a new era and tlu always be judged on getting the project out of C&M and they are doing that. Commercial Sensitive Information you say Brad. Tell me more.....
