This er, this good news for us then guys?
Surely ODX getting a slice of that £8Bn ?
Ignoring the month of high volume testing in schools. If we take the government desire for 2m test per day. We can divide this figure by approx 7 so for 2m per week for 12 months it would suggest approx £1.15b
£8Bn divided by the government requirement for 14m tests per week gives 8Bn / (14m x 52) = just over £10 per test. That right?
To be fair it sounds high. So 1. Maybe it's for more tests. 2. It includes a large volume of antibody tests too (good for us) 3. Both of these
And perhaps it's an overestimate.... but would suggest an annual figure exceeding £0.5b per year
Maybe we've increased capacity yet more
If omega does sign a multi milion pound deal then this would be classed as a reverse takeover as per aim rules.instigating a suspension of shares until finalised. I did post this before and was ridiculed. Baffled why. Either way im happy to hold.
Upomega. Not that again. Don't be a pratt and don't embarrass yourself. Or is that green you're smoking too strong for you ?
If one deal completly alters the company making the deal worth more than its current mkt cap.this is my hypothesis of what could hapoen if we are fortunate for such a deal
Holy crap, £8 billion for LFT?! Watch the herd piling in on Monday morning!
Upomega you're an idiot. I'm not sure how you've missed my bin. Off you go. To the echo chamber
So are you saying that no large overnight deals are going to materialise. As far as i m concerned the shares should have been suspended a long time ago pending the results of gvmnt contract
If only to stop the spiv brigade. Fwiw i will be in cintact with the ceo and fca about this. And you will be the first to know
Simple answer either ignore or take on board. Up to you.
I shall repost my earlier post:
"This is not the weekend to be out of ODX, or have a smaller holding that you would wish, in my opinion."
ODX tweet gave a VERY BIG hint, BIG Things happening......
Aberdeenman
Temporary suspension may be the more appropriate rather than reverse takeover. Credit to barrywhit on advfn for that.
Very sorry upomega but you are mistaken. The winning of a contract to supply will never be viewed as a reverse take over or take over of any kind - I am quite positive about this sorry.
Let hope a large part of the 8bn comes to ODX.
Goldtrig
Not sure where you have got that from.
WOW......AMAZING IF TRUE.....
Huge re-rate due next week. Almost a guarantee we will secure a % when there is £8bn on the table. Even a 5% or 10% would be enormous. Uk bidders would no doubt be preferred. No chance of paying air freight from cheap Innova rubbish on this sort of volume. Expanded manufacturing facilities, confidence in our product, forward stock etc will be all in place.
Bigbangs. I was drawing on another share of mine which signed a massive conteact a number of years ago. It was transformational for them. They were suspended for a while and terminology used was a teverse takeover. They subsequently came back reflecting the terms of the deal. Thats my point. Its not meant as a negative just my view and to what may happen should omega be fortunate enough to sign such a deal.
A large slice of £8 billion will most certainly be earmarked for ODX, just for comparison NCYT's mcap hit £1 billion after they got a £250 mil contract from DHSC, exciting time ahead for ODX!
News Always comes on a friday after close.. Well done to all who kept there faith in here. Rns will definitely arrive now in the coming week(s) as the probability of odx manufacturing one of these LFT's is extremely high now IMHO...
super news , roll on Monday...
Gary.... Above £1 in the coming months....
Are you of sound mind.... & you state about us being drunk... Why would you be invested if you were looking at pence for profit?
This is the best award we will get in the next 6 months..
Upomega, I did not read it that you were being negative. The company you were previously invested in must have been a connected party in some way which could potentially have required a suspension and reverse take over. I can assure you that if, I would like to write when, ODX receive a contract no suspension or reverse take over will be required - perhaps just celebration by us holders. ATB
