Innova website being down is great to see, the taxpayer has had to fit the bill for many many months. I really do hope a public enquiry is opened up and anybody who has acted negligently or any in any other corrupt way be taken out of their role and made an example of.
Why on earth, still to this day, does Omega not have a test ready to be manufactured. It seems as if all those cronies have been sitting in the background humming and hawing whilst throwing billions at a test which was never ever meant to be used for home use.
The opportunities Domestically/Internationally are colossal and for Colin to put a timeframe on Approvals for the US, shows he has great belief in the market across there, partnering with Mologic. It's a pity we ever got into bed with the government, considering they have left Omega pretty much sitting on the sidelines. I wonder how much longer they would have strung us along whilst buying even more of these test.
We are in a fortunate position, that we will be manufacturing a best in class test, that is a given, so in terms of the reputation of LFT's - we will uphold that and then some (albeit Mologic + Other best in class).
What concerns me, is the HMG's approach to constantly change the goalposts almost on a weekly basis. We are sat almost mid June and they still have not even picked a test - Yet Mr Bethell as we all know stated manufacturing from end of May. What makes it worse is the fact, they believe they are better than anybody else and feel they do not have a duty of care to provide updates. Omega turned into a sea of excitement to a sea of fear as time ticked on with complete and utter radio silence. I now feel that HMG have been boxed into a corner to act fast and get the indigenous UK Supply chain up and running toot suite.
Innova tests should be binned, there is no middle ground and even if the MHRA respond to counter the FDA, the public confidence has been shot to pieces.
I wonder what Gary/twatcher and all those other little parasites will do now that it's pretty much an open goal for Omega going forward - they must be having sleepless nights trying to think of ways to slander a company who are pretty much bulletproof going forward (unless covid goes away but I see c8000 cases today).
Omega have sat on the substitutes bench for far too long now, they must be desperate to get this all progressed and be part of the UK supply chain (government have invested millions in UK diagnostics).
Everybody who has held this share the last month or so - hats off to you, with all the parasites on this board etc its been hard to switch off.
Lets hope that the next few weeks are the start of things and we can all enjoy watching Omega grow into a powerhouse diagnostics arm within Europe.
Is this the same bigjock who in April posted:-
"This is the last ever post I will be placing on this board. The abuse I have received for trying to help shareholders was beyond any level I am comfortable receiving..."
...and whose last post used the words "little parasites" to refer to other posters ? Maybe the hous of bigjock doesn't do mirrors ? If you can't form an argument without returning to a default predilection to use inflamatory and derogatory terms to refer to others, maybe the argument needs looked at
Talking about arguments, lets see how some of his more recenting postings have turned out:-
6th of March "March/April should allow us to see a significant re-rate of the SP"
13th March "I honestly do not believe the nasty comments that people seem to enjoy posting on these boards, it's just pathetic." (see his post today)
15th March "People need to realise that we are awaiting the confirmation on which test to use. News on this should be near from the government and will provide a tangible value to the contract. (now 3 months old).
1st of april "I feel extremely confident that April should see a real step change in the SP as a flurry of news arrives."
18th of April "My price prediction of March/April at £2.50 of course I am hopeful of" (can you see a pattern here ?)
He is the same bigjock that just got 38 recommends on his post.
Your the same TWATcher that just got zero.
Twatcher now ran out of ways to deramp the company so goes on personal attacks. Standard.
What a bell he is. Big money to be made here, always has been it's just more obvious to people now
Interesting , exact quotes of his are attacks on him:)
BigJock36...well put. Great summary of the LFT fiasco. ODX has played the MHRC / HMG 'game' from the outset and are now the poorer for it. Hopefully, HMG will now see sense - as you say - and get the UK LFT production engine up and running with the Gold Standard to rollout to the World and aid their protection. https://twitter.com/WeeSportsBet
Thatcher, just goes to show big jock knows as much as you and the rest of us , which is basically sweet fanny Adam’s . The board would however be much more interesting if we kept it factual, non aggressive and non personal . That applies to all, just saying.
Holding for the moon. Gla.
You only need to check the amount of recommends to see who has the most credibility.
Game set and match.
I think the plan ( before the Indian variant turned up ) and covid cases reducing was to drop the chinese made tests and switch to our home grown tests just for health
workers and travel as they probably envisaged the free tests distribution slowing down
However now with cases going up dramatically and the Chinese test found to be wanting
We will suddenly find ourselves front and centre , with Biden here trying to gain support against the Chinese , Omega could be championed as a shining example!
Sturgeon will also say omega tests to be used in Scotland going forward
It’s going to be an exciting couple of weeks !

Whilst it would be great for Innova to be kicked out, the simple question is, do we ( and by that I mean the uk diagnostic companies combined), have the manufacturing capacity available at this moment to replace them?
If not, I fear we are stuck with Innova, as the government can’t suddenly stop testing. It would be political suicide.
and what is the point of testing with something that doesn't work?
may as well use a pregnancy test !!
Blubutton, they have been using them for 15 months with some success. More by good luck than good management by our government.
The MHRA (?) have been far too slow in giving approvals. Why they couldn’t issue emergency use similar to Innova,I will never know.Brown envelopes comes to mind.
Let’s hope for some good news, but wear3 not hearing too much of an outcry at the moment to divert the government’s course.
good luck rather than judgement can be applied to result of a pregnancy test too.... if you know what i mean
was attempting humour sandgrounded.
that aise though, the Innova test was absolute s**t and the Chinese scumbags made billions from it, i'd like to see them (directors Innova) hunted down and tried for crimes against humanity.
Just been reading a book, where our government is involved through the war and after, in industry . Nothing has changed over 70 years. Quite frightening.
" Quite frightening " I'd sooner have those times than what lies ahead in these woke green limp appease everyone days .
Blubutton, no worries, I appreciated the humour in both your posts. Good luck. Hopefully tomorrow will be our day.
