Lynparza on a roll, EU approval

But to get a deal with a pharma company we need to be in the real world with a corporate structure that has a Chairman & at least one executive director. After a month we have not even got a temporary Chairman & one executive director, why can Gilbert & Gooding not take those roles 'temporarily' until results?
With positive results, Dan can hopefully sell NXP002 rights to somebody and this in turn attracts a CEO to work with NXP004 or drive us to a takeover.
Also, better to retain funds where we can. Why pay a CEO salary for the next few months before 002 findings?
We've got to be honest with ourselves. The previous directors have left us in a hot mess but after today's RNS, it looks like it's a great move forward, and as soup said, I would take this over news of new CEO. This shows we have a strategy in the short term which hopefully pulls us up and reflects on future payments received by Lanstead. If we can get the result we need from 002 then it will be time to usher in a new CEO.
At the end of the day, we're in no position to demand a new CEO given our state of affairs (who would want to join now??)...However, once positive news comes in for 002 (even 004), we will then be able to draw the best talents for a CEO role.
Step by step we are getting there
He’s maybe heard about the lure of monster munch & Kit Kats and is trying to impress to secure it Lol
"I’d take this update over a board appointment any day of the week. It shows clear strategy regardless of who is in charge"
For all we know, Gilbert could be at the end of his tether and might regard this as his last commitment before resigning tomorrow and going off to take up a dream job opportunity in lion taming or something.
It's worth nothing without stability.
Perhaps we should propose it at the AGM. If they cant be fagged to create a proper corporate organisation, we shareholders should impose one on them.
Soup will be a great ceo. He will definitely look after shareholders for sure.
Soup fancy becoming CEO? I’ll vote for you but you’re only getting paid in Monster Munch and Kit Kats.
I get that jiving, but for me it’s good that they get the product back on track as the priority, then they have time to properly organise the company structure.
It’s like Our past exec wanted to write a poor RNS with complete disdain for shareholders. This is far more promising.
They are not mutually exclusive though Soup. Why cannot one of them become 'Chairman'? We cant seriously project ourselves as a biotech company with this shambles of 2 NEDs & one business development consultant. Perhaps we could use the AGM to shake things up a bit.
I’d take this update over a board appointment any day of the week. It shows clear strategy regardless of who is in charge.
Yes agreed well written RNS not only that the schedule laid out is in advance of what was said in the last RNS so either pressure has been applied or a new CRO is being used
Agreed Jiving.
It's good to see they've moved quickly on the testing but the management is the real concern now. We need to know that we have a stable BoD in place that is genuinely looking after the interests of all shareholders, otherwise nothing changes.
Hopefully, more news on that very soon.
A positive RNS ... such a pity it wasn't released soon after the non conclusive test results. Hopefully the market will react positively ... LH&K Mafuta
But no Chairman, no CEO, no executive....where is the' company'?
Now that’s how to write an rns, good news from Gilbert in there.
Really great to see this. Sends a solid support message of news will be coming on a very well tested drug. Glad to see. Well done BOD
Well at least it was positive and looks like someone is trying to steer us back on track. August is better then next year...fingers crossed no more bumps in the road.
