That’s very true Soup. Let’s hope we will have something by year end.
Taz, the fact is they are doing something.
The problem is most people don’t understand the timescales involved and won’t hold long enough to see it out.
It’s so frustrating as this share have no momentum for us shareholders. Only traders and lanstead are making money here. I had top up done yesterday and like all my others underwater already. Common Dan and co, do something for shareholders as we deserved something here.
No, all selling matters as far as the share price is concerned, regardless of its source. An excess of supply over demand drives the price down - that can come from a share sale agreement like Lanstead, from a major shareholder selling or from insider knowledge driven selling - whether that 'knowledge' is true or false.
At present we are at a delicate crossroads with sentiment recovering somewhat with the BOD appointments & good news on NXP002, but the turnover is still very low on an average day. So the monthly share sale when it occurs can have a serious % effect as it 'possibly' has done today, an extra 5.5m shares (some 0.8% of share capital) still has to be absorbed by extra demand.
Selling only matters if they know something not in the public domain.Unlikely in this case
8m turnover in a big down day - I really hope 5.5m of that is Lanstead. Otherwise we have some serious selling going on.
Wont Lanstead also be essentially forced sellers every month in accordance with the agreement? I am thinking big round figured hits on the bid side could be them doing their monthly 5.5 million?
Sellers are same people who bought into the news. Eg the 736,325 sell matches a buy on 4 August.
Most of the other trade patterns align with similar ones before.
On 22 July there was a 2m buy followed by 2 x 750k A trade buys then a 1m buy.
Now we’ve just seen exactly the same pattern but as sells.
17% down on no news. Who is selling after decent news this week?
If oxilio’s valuation is to be believed then NFX with NXP002/4 is worth a billion £££’s at least.
Happy days
It was in their control to agree/disagree to sign a deal which, judging by the this valuation, appears to have sold most genuine shareholders short.
FX, whilst I'm frustrated by Oxilio's valuation, theres nothing that NFX can do about it, its entirely out of their control.
I only raise it out of slight disbelief and amazement, but I know that private companies are not susceptible to the same market influences as a listed company.
We are in a better position so long as:
1) There are no more deals struck which benefit partners more than they do our own shareholders. Questions should be asked about why a partner who's entire portfolio is based on our IP is valued at such a high price when we are worth nothing? How did that happen?
2) We don't end up being sold off to a cheap bid.
If NXP002 and NXP004 are really what they have been touted to be then we should only be looking to strike deals with big players.
Not too fussed about Dan's linkedin update (or not) as it took him a year to update that he'd founded TRx.
Yes we are 100% in a better position, the market needs convincing by the looks of it. Confident we'll be 1p+ in September then kick on from there hopefully as the pipeline advances
IMO we are actually in a better position than we were at the end of May when Riddell delivered his double bombshell. We have the BOD in place with a good biotech Chairman & Dan with his huge stake & knowledge as our formal ED. Similarly we have the great news on our two papers being accepted for the ERS in early Sept, & the latest study puts to rest most of the fears raised in the botched earlier tests. So really no rationale to be under 1p going into late August pre-ERS where we should surely see some FOMO buying.
Was about to check that, interesting.
We wait for the next snippet of news then, hopefully will add some value to SP
He has also not updated his Linkedin profile to reflect he is now an ED at NFX not just a consultant.
Maybe he wants to keep a low profile.
Looks like no interview yet Soup, hopefully bigger news on the horizon.
Still no mention of Dan on the website which is a bit odd
Oxilio will soon be valued higher than Tesla ...
Feels like everyone is waiting... watching what might happen next.
Wondering how much Oxilio's valuation has gone up in the past few days regardless... £500m? £600m?
I get the feeling we might see am interview now.
The fact we didn’t get one last week after Dan started made me think he was waiting for something first.
Don’t think so FX, but who knows.
From what I can understand TRx lipid delivery doesn’t relate to inhalation.
We know NFX we’re using nebuliser delivery before, so not sure what alternatives there are other than standard inhaler
Great news indeed ... and a step in the right direction
