The wild swings were largely down to the 6p warrants which were up by 3000% at one point, we've diluted around 12% since the previous highest close, which is around where we are now. I don't think anything in today's RNS justified a higher rise than what we've had today though (sales disappointing, but distribution agreements signed and multiple approvals to come), it's well poised for next month
I don't think a 30% increase with solid consolidation is a muted reaction, if anything it provided proof that the market see's potential and it's just a matter of when not if, looking at the sales figures alone was an easy drop to sub £1, but the rest was pretty damn good IMO.
Although they were probably a bit naughty with the launch RNS, i think many (myself included) expected millions of orders to pile in from all over the globe - they left out the small detail of requiring FDA approvals everywhere to fully capitalise on their markets, the spread in Korea, middle east and Europe will almost certainly speed up the process
DYOR etc
Everybody banging on about this CE mark. The CE mark is only a validation in Europe..If the USA ,China don't want to use it ,they won't.They will use their own kits.Let's see. what happens.I will be the first to come on here and admit I was wrong
More of a "Jam next month" RNS.
I feel sure there was sales information that could have been reported, as the time for twiddling thumbs whilst reviewing a quotation is long gone. As I've mentioned, payment must accompany any order.
The problem with this company is simple. Coronavirus will not be a pandemic forever. The market will be aware of this factor.
Well put Latino.
From the RNS
"Due to the high level of interest in the Primerdesign COVID-19 test and rapidly evolving nature of this outbreak, the Company cannot predict with any certainty the conversion rate of these ongoing enquiries into orders."
So it would seem that the bulk of the quotation requests are still in process, and have not yet been converted to orders.
So it is too soon to get a better idea of sales and thus Mcap.
I'll just have to be more patient.
Agree it’s their...but the major hint here is what’s coming ‘significant quotations’ ‘high level of interest’ ‘initial sales £2.1m’ ‘talks with a number of countries’....if this doesn’t point to monumental orders potential then don’t know what is!
They've more or less provided that info.... 930k of both RUO and CE tests
40k confirmed plus 35k quotes so say 50k * £5 = £250k of RUO's and remainder being CE tests £680k/5 = around 140k?
There's a lot of detail in today's RNS indicating this will be significantly higher over the next few months.
"The value of quotations has grown significantly as Novacyt is currently involved in active discussions with representatives from a number of countries which have an acute need for tests as part of their national screening programmes. Due to the high level of interest in the Primerdesign COVID-19 test and rapidly evolving nature of this outbreak, the Company cannot predict with any certainty the conversion rate of these ongoing enquiries into orders."
Plus the virus pretty much turned pandemic at the start of this week, hitting korea/iran/italy - you can imagine that's when authorities will have begun taking it 'seriously' - expecting a sharp upwards movement in terms of demand for tests once the relevant FDA approvals from multiple countries come through
Bh2. Your post pretty much explains why the sp didn't break out earlier today.

Evening all, first post here , I have been following the board for a couple of weeks now and I have come across this article . Interesting read they are about to use a 2 hr test that is awaiting final approval. I am invested. Gla
Until NCYT provides an update as to what products have been sold since the last update, then we cannot begin to guess an MCAP.
Bearing in mind, that Primerdesign do not take orders without payment, should we be provided with info on what has been sold, we would have a much better handle on Mcap, and that may help to reduce the wild swings and roundabouts for the sp.
Stabilisation if you will.
This is the RNS I want to see most, else our investment is in potential, not in confirmed sales.
