Vaccine protects others? Pmsl. Say that to the 68 Spanish health workers who contracted covid at a all vaxxed party at the weekend. Give me strength.
Let’s see what the next 25 years bring you
I've had 0 since I was 16 nine years ago, and still rarely get ill... Do you actively avoid those who haven't had the flu vaccine because apparently they'll give you the flu, or do you just accept you've had the flu vaccine and you'll be good regardless
you wont die you have had the invincible jab, and this is the first vaccine of its kind with the MRNA delivery system so its not like any other vaccine is it? its a trial until 2023 then we should have more data. althought i think they would have made enough money by then to down grade this pandemic
earth70000 This year I’ve had 7 vaccines - your point?
2 AZ Covid
1 Pfizer Covid
1 Flu
1 Pneumococcal
1 Hepatitis MenACWY
1 Tetanus
I also caught Covid (Delta) with no immune system & got over it in 5 days (thanks to vaccine) but people in my street didn’t
That is correct . Compare to Promate not as fast , Novacyt established and not reliant on manufacture.
We await news , so will they ......

I thought the machines could do more than one at a time?
1 test per device @ positive from 7.5 minutes and negative results at 17 minutes
Anyone know the speed of the machines GDR will use to process these tests? What can each machine do per hour/day? I did ask a while back on their BB but nobody seemed to know accurately.
Another 131 cases of the Omicron COVID variant have been recorded across the UK, taking the total to 568.
Every day is a higher number of Omicron cases, yesterday was 101 and 90 the day before.
Do you get the flu jab every year Kitty? If not... are you an anti-vaxxer?
“ By no means anti-vaxx either”
Really?
Be careful not too fall off the edge of the Earth
How do you lot seriously think this vaccines works?
If my t-cells operate to any level similar to someone with a vaccine (and some studies suggest actual covid increased immunity more than the vaccines anyway), you are as likely to catch it from me as you are a fully-vaccinated person. I would actually think you are more likely to catch it from someone who is vaccinated now, as there are no visible symptoms and a lower viral load to make lfts useless in warning you.
The claim that I am more likely to get it if I'm not vaccinated is poppy**** - but sure it may be applicable to those who are unvaccinated whos t cells either cannot cope with the virus or have not had to deal with it yet.
We all have the right to make our own choices. You’ve made yours but with approaching 8 billion people (because of previous successful vaccines) & proven vaccines working for Polio, Tetanus, Flu, Hepatitis A & B, Rubella, Hib, Measels, Whooping Cough, Pneumococcal, Mumps, Chickenpox, Diphtheria etc
So go get bit by a dog without a Tetnus
Go get a virus & forget antibiotics
You’re welcome to not partake but don’t infect me, my friends or my family & ask us to die when prevention is there
You are much more likely to get it if your not fully vaccinated.
Why do you consider yourself diffrent from the rest of us ?
And how does the jab give me any different protection than having had the virus twice? T-cells evidently know what they are doing without the need of a dose of a dead virus...
Earth. I thought the point of having the jabs were to protect others ??
I remain invested here purely because of the general publics inability to accept covid is now a part of life. I will not have the vaccine because I've already had covid twice, and don't see what benefits it will offer over actual infection - especially as we are now seeing companies claiming their vaccines are no longer effective against this new variant. By no means anti-vaxx either, truly outstanding that they've managed to develop and administer as many doses as they have this past 12 months, but why are we not just giving them to those who need them most.
An example, the first time I had covid was just over a year ago, was almost the best week of my life, I was waited on hand and foot, no work, no pressures. 10 days off, fully paid, sitting in bed playing Xbox at the expense of my taste and smell for 4 days. However, when my mother caught it more recently from the school she works in, double vaxxed, she was extremely ill, got through god knows how many inhalers and 4 weeks a later still has no smell or taste. Now I would happily give the vaccines I am meant to have to people like her who will genuinely suffer.
Honestly, we need to live our normal lives again. We don't lock down every winter for the sake of flu cases. Give those who need it a vaccine booster (want an extra? - have mine). If we prioritise the right people, like we do with the flu every year, we can live normally - stop wasting vaccines on kids.
For the idiots on here who say it’s just a cold etc
