Correction: I would have sold with the intention of buying at a lower price. I have always believed in Nanoco's long term future.
Feeks: My comment was intended as a compliment to you. I never believed that you had an agenda other than to warn us, nor did I ever criticize you. I did not want to believe you. All of the news from Edelman and others seemed so positive. Had I been able to trade on the London market, I certainly would have sold. My initial purchase was on the London markets, but the US goverment forced my broker to move my account to the US OTC market, which is simply too illiquid to enable timely trades.
My own research shows the price went from 11.44 to 10.10 during ramper Z's chosen timescale. His crystal balls are wonky.
Well, we reached '20p plus' by Friday - 20p plus minus 10p...
Yes Amerloque, It did upset people but in those days it was trading at 120p and I felt 40p/50p was fair value, which it was for a while. There is no agenda with me, and never has been. At the time it was my view the DOW Asian factory was just a white elephant, which of course it was. 10p is a good price now IMO. I expect much better than that to be achieved vi the court case.
Maybe next week.
Is it also the case that, as Samsung’s defence is centred around their claim that the patents are invalid/incorrectly filed, their not actually refuting the fact they used Nano’s? Not that they’ll have publicly stated that.
"I presume that e-discovery may relate to emails etc. These will be important for establishing wilful infringement and hence damages."
But as I said just a few posts ago, the opposite is likely true: the aim of this motion is to limit email evidence and other digital data because history shows it is not usually relevant to these disputes, costs money, and slows things down for both sides
Thanks Nige - that makes sense.
Hi Pete
No doubt you put no limit on the trade, so the seller got his sell price and recorded as a sell.
BoL
Don’t know what is moving the share price - all I can say is that I have made two purchases in Nanoco today one of 30,172 at 0956 hrs and another of 100,000 at 1429 hrs and both are recorded on this site’s dealing history as sales!
Do you think it's mainly day traders and short-termers who are moving the SP now? In the absence of news about new contracts (all quiet on the Merck front) we really seem to be a one-card trick. To me, the daily moves are sort of irrelevant, as everything really depends on the court case, though with my average of 19p, the current price isn't exactly cheering :( The spread isn't that large, so MMs don't seem to be up to their usual tricks.
Samsung Electronics has just announced a bumper 3rd quarter:

so more money for them to pay our damages!!!
While patent cases revolve round what the patent claims and what the description states, I presume that e-discovery may relate to emails etc. These will be important for establishing wilful infringement and hence damages.
Hi BtB
No. "it's his extensive and thorough research". Obviously you aren't paying attention either.
BoL
Markets are all over the place at present.
Recent volatility certainly suggests to me that someone is engaging in the dark arts. Up 16% earlier in the week and down 7% today alone.
I am waiting for the spike up but don’t expect it any time soon, so best not to look at the SP too often. I may set an order to buy more at under 10p though?
Have you not been paying attention Nige, it's his extensive and thorough research means a 20p sp is a certainty for this Friday.
Why!
Come on 20p not long now
Glad to see Feeks being positive (post indicates ownership of Nanoco shares). I Seem to remember that he/she was the most negative poster on this board for years, irritating many other posters. I wish I had listened to him/her.
@zahir Good start to your predictions 13 @ close my arse!
Much rather it was that way round and not the other way.
A load of non regular nano users ramping the share today. Ramp it short it and never hear from them again. Working in a pack of wolves with nanoco in their sights
@zahir
Baa, Baa - Naah
"If you check I’ve been saying that since I bought in at 120p "
Did check, and you regularly make these asinine predictions about virtually every share you invest in - it's hilarious - and you are always wrong. Your predictions about GDR were terrible, for example. Thanks for the entertainment and advice.
