So there’s another 200 million + shares coming on to the market to Napster shareholders as well as the 200 million for the subscription, share capital keeps getting bigger, still in it for the long term plan.
very pertinent question henry.currently 10.68%.i would expect at least a percentage point or so increase, but it could be more.we know matchett is coming down by about 2.6%and han**** by almost 2%..will be interstingto see if gore has participated(i suspect not) but we are going to have to wait for substantial shareholder register to be updated which won't be until end of dec/beginning of jan.
I'm up on all my shares today except ........
:)
I wouldn't worry too much.It would be pretty incompetent if the board hadn't already been assured by major shareholders of their approval already and had no idea of what is possible in what timescale.Things can always be pushed back and i'm sure the napster guys spent a while deciding if this deal was for them and are unlikely to want to change their minds straight away after alot of work.
Does anybody have a clue on what part of the Enlarged company will be owned by Davis Partnership if the Napster deal goes through? The following statement of the last RNS is interesting
"It is a condition of the Loan Facility that the Company will use commercially reasonable efforts to install Lancing Davis as a director of the Company as soon as practicable."
lol, he is a misunderstood man.
dont mention him please !
I have a feeling shows will resume Friday 18th
Hopefully starting with BrownAdder's favorite Cliff Richard - Wind Me Up
Trades are starting to look blue now :)
I think today's drop was to be expected and will be sustained all afternoon. Hopefully as the investors read, understand and look to the future there will be a slow and steady rise of the sp especially if MVR can get another few big names on board like Liam. i am quite a few grand down today and it hurts after all the waiting.

i just want business to continue
more and more and more and more concerts
and no gap during xmas/nye
however they run the back end i dont care
Nikki was one of the top force behind Spotify, if anyone can bring Spotify down it will be Nikki - Trojan :)
I hope to goodness they hire someone decent then 'US someone with huge credentials like Nikki' - not another Nikki please.
Its a bottom drawer stock for me - i'll tuck it away and see where we are in 6 months time. No point looking at the day to day price movement
Starting to research MelodyVR to understand it's live shows streaming service. Not sure if the technical issues mentioned in the comments in below link are technology/server related or at the client end.

group name (the one listed) does not need to change the name
but the MUSIC APP will be Napster and it should be.
Theatre APP could be MVR or anythign really doesnt matter
look out for next hiring - I expect MVR to poach someone from US someone with huge credentials like Nikki
tbh Business matters, accounting doesnt
keep churning concerts until the eyes bleed
cannot believe this is so low? what an opportunity imv
Could they, will they change the name post Jan 2021, to Napster?
I read almost the same - both brands cant survive in one company so MVR will go as far as the name is but MVR app will get inside Napster - Napster is a huge brand so shall it survive.
I will give a very appropriate British example
This is 2006 or 2007.
Boots was sold as a loss making company to Alliance Healthcare
Alliance HealthCare actually did RTO of Boots - Boots was taken off LSE -
You wouldnt believe that Boots was not turning profit to people's estimates - much like Napster -
Even though Alliance bought it - the new chain which became very large was called Boots.
Because Boots the chemist is far bigger name.
But within a year a US based PE bought entire new Alliance Boots group after all synergies restructuring and PE getting their money back - Boots is now Boots Wallgreen.
Top UK with Top US chemist chain.
Thanks to PE
did private investors made as much money as II ? NO - of course not
did private investors made money ? yes loads
cheer up !
Good questions Scott. Ignore BA, who seems to have appointed himself as the policeman of this board. Needless to say he actually has no such authority.

I've taken the time to read the admission document, and a few things stood out for me.
1. The new app, suggesting that not only will the Melody app go, so will the brand. I thought it would be an amalgamation of the two names. Napster it is.
2. The makeup and expansion of the senior management team, which can only help. Also the increase in headcount.
3. Locations of the offices: UK, Europe, US, and South America.
4. The income/revenue from Napster, without taking consideration the MVR element (which is *slightly* smaller at this time.
Obviously I was hoping for the share to come back anywhere between 10-20p. But that was based upon the deal being tied up and announced.
Perhaps the market saw it that way, and assumed that deal hadn't happened, or won't happen - who knows??
For me, it's only until you read the full document, you can see the rationale, and the upside of the merger.
HI All,
I have an AP of 9p through averaging down, having bought in after a recommendation at 16p. Can we have a grown up discussion on the future of this company? I have various points;
1 - What is the product going to be? Is it VR, 2d music videos or a combination of both? I get the Napster product (music streaming), what is MVR going to offer as an addition that youtube/amazon/facebook doesn't or wont in the future offer for free? VR has not worked. If MVR were looking to make money from live private gigs, how have they not done this during a global pandemic?
2 - Whilst the Liam Gallagher gig was amazing, how much profit would this make after Liam's cut, his production company's and 3rd party costs? If they are treating this as a loss-leader, realistically what are similar costing gigs going to make in the future?
3 - They are changing strategic direction a lot for my liking, I feel they don't have a grasp on what they want this to be and are going in a different direction when something doesn't work. I fear that the owners will flog this when they get a decent price (for them, not us).
To those who think I am trying to drive down the price, I am not. I am a concerned investor who has lost a considerable amount on this and want to get other's rational view on this stock. This is an investment discussion group, not a school playground so lets have a sensible discussion please.
name change no to your shares
shares belong to Group (MVR Group)
MVR App is not the trading company
MVR app is a sub of MVR Group
Napster will be merged with MVR App as a subsidiary
Theatre etc will sit under MVR Group
etc bit is for explanation, there are no etc at this moment
