A buy out is possible
But what about the effort made by the ex sky q developers on the new app? Will that work go to waste?
BUT none of us would have been here if it wasn't for AM.
125 - Yep it was me lol
Yep the build up towards the AGM. So can see a steady rise into that.
Predict some news along the way as the board won't want the flames licking their bottoms too much.
Horse loves a bit of Yazz. The 1988 dance-pop classic.
It will be on the Napster app.
Just done a quick artist count on the app, and there is 130 artist on there already, and if you average out 10 - 15 tracks, you have 1300 - 1500 tracks within the app already.
If you look back on the Melody music webpage, you can see all the great stuff they did last autumn in the midst of pandemic.
Thoughts??
wait for the dreaded RNS speeding ticket.
I thought being a bronco you'd only have a buck.
Must be news :)
I see your point Themis.
Big Elephant in the room has been the dreaded Covid. What benefit would 02 extras have from this, when concerts haven't been running?
"...AM has stated MelodyVR will survive for the foreseeable future, however no investment will take place, for me ‘something’ doesn’t stack up!!..."
Perhaps the 20+ weeks to finalise the new app could be the answer within your points.
Melody VR app works, and my guess (and not a friends) is that there will be VR converts through this in the coming weeks. Especially as concerts start to reopen again.
There were a few other things mentioned. One about AM. It sounded to me like Harry Redknapp (my personal opinion as KL). Apparently they all like him AM at Napster, and it's very very unlikely he will move on as he is very good at getting the deals and has a depth or knowledge and the industry contacts - and the industry contacts like him.
The App is being developed by developers from a big UK media company, and are extremely good at what they do. This can be cross referenced on LinkedIn. Which I had done so myself.
From what it sounds like, there will be additions who will help guide this into the next beast it will become.
Sorry, about speaking in slight riddles, but it really does sound positive and has given me a bit of confidence back, having been shaken by yesterdays moves downward.
Well oversold, with two large dumps. It's those CLNS, and something else.
I hate using these words. A friend or a friend.
But in this case it is true.
Someone I know has been speaking to a company employee at a party some weeks ago. Apparently the new app (as disclosed to the market) is looking very very special indeed. They also mentioned making appointments to help bolster the management - which we saw in yesterdays RNS. They (the employee) were extremely positive the way it was going.
...confusion in the bedroom.
Interesting. But wouldn't there be some kind of agreement following the r/to of Napster of a future buyout?
Dollans etc. have bought significant holdings and well above the current price. Why would they see a loss, along with us little people?
CMO - Not too sure she was a director level. 5 or so years is a long time to be at a company. Plus he role may have been duplicated with VP on the Napster side.
I think it was bought forward due to the name change from EVR to MVR.
Last year, it was "11.00 am on 11 May 2020"

Big company indeed. The 2nd largest radio company in the US.
