Building up a nice support around 200 now - what time for the next push up?
Added a few at 180.Bargain of the week.
But if it makes things easier for people, leave the rest of the sector where it is, and just revise MTO up a lot ;-)
The rest of the sector may need revising down a little and MTO up a little.
If the whole sector is having a hard time, rather than Mitie being unfairly judged and oversold would it not make more sense that the whole sector is overbought?
Capita’s profit warning confirms that it is not just Mitie that has found business conditions tough this year. This could lead to a revision of opinion that the sector as a whole may for a while have a battle on its hands, and that Mitie was unfairly judged on the 19th, and is as a consequence oversold.
usually have a bounce up on the way to interim in general, never see a macd drop so negative in all honesty and starting to pull the chin off the ground so as a speculative punt I am looking for bottom to lift then confirm 2nd day and then I am in like a banger in mash
Hi RML, Not been in long myself, but like you think that the drop is overblown. Not to sure really about prospects apart from in most cases a recovery back to the 200p area should be short/mid term, with perhaps the gap fill over 6+ months, but does all depend on how they may re-organise.
Been watching this since the big dip, does anyone have views on mid to long-term prospects here? looks to be overblown from what research I have done so far and TA showing oversold imo.
from this website http://shorttracker.co.uk/company/GB0004657408/all i see that there is a short position of 8pc of sharein issue... that had been opened long time ago.. does anybody think they are now closing position looking the big trades recently?
I'd prefer it if you didn't. I've been good recently.
thanks all, greatly apprecaited. Best of luck to all here, hope it recovers for you guys.
i had a look here when they first crashed and thought they looked worth a go at around 180 but after seeing the broker targets im dubious now and feel the need to do a bit deeper research here
No hard figures are likely to be released until the interim report in November so everyone is guessing and voting accordingly. However as soon as MTO announce that they will be shutting down/selling the unprofitable areas of their business, (After all why should a private company subsidise a government’s socially divisive austerity policy?), Then IMO the share price should return to somewhere north of the maximum price they paid during the share buy-back programme. Which was a self-valuing exercise performed throughout four of the six months in question. Meanwhile today’s RNS: Harris Associates L.P. Bought a few on the dip bringing their total From 17,910,282 on 15-09-2016 To 18,393,003 on 19-09-2016
Have traded this share for a while and if had funds at the minute would be buying. There are often swings with this company for no reason..Dont think you will lose around at this price.
Hi All, Looking at this company for first time. Wondering if there is anyone with solid knowledge willing to give opinion on possible short to medium term recovery in this share. No intersted in long winded tripe just comon sense information/opinion/approach many thanks KF
MTO has never seen 420p, so your talking out your behind..
Thank you so much

Hi j.williams2, https://www.fca.org.uk/markets Click on the button/link for Short positions daily update Download the latest spreadsheet of short positions disclosed to us (XLS) It shows the net short position (total longs minus total shorts). Only whilst the net short position is greater than 0.5% do they have to be declared. Any such position or change in position should be declared by the following day (but sometimes it takes a couple of days more)
Hi Stonefold, Do you mind sharing your source of this information. I would like to use it on other shares too. Thanks
