Anyway onwards and upwards hopefully.
BF once again...
You are not invested - your own words!
You do not have a short - your own words
So unless you work for an interested party or you are a liar
Why are you here and spending so much time on here?
Eileen, don't blame me for you having a go at someone else to try and excuse yourself
Sharedealer, what does it matter if people invest or not or stay with it or not, if a RTO happens the SP will be what it will be.
I’ll take that as an attempt at an apology thanks.
Here is the reason, if there are any new investors who are thinking of investing and they keep seeing just BF posting they will loose confidence and not invest, this also goes for investors who are unsure if they should stay with the share. So the reason I carry on posting and will continue to do so is counter the negativity BF and the other derampers bring here.
We are all entitled to our views on if this will succeed or not, I am just making the playing field a little more level.
GLA and stay safe over the weekend.
P.s to everyone on here, the police are gearing up and are expecting Saturday to be like new years eve, so be safe and don’t make Saturday ‘corona virus saturday’ as opposed to what the press are calling ‘super saturday’
Sharedealer2019 - Maybe a bit over the top last night, but just get tired of the constant rubbish posted on this Board.
Still have no understanding why you keep replying to the likes of BF. You are only giving him a platform to keep coming back and irritating the **** out of most other posters here.
Anytime today is fine Eileen13. Hope my post earlier confirmed my integrity!
Bobzio......if there is a monetary amount showing, that then goes to zero and those shares were brought higher than the current price as I said I had been buying on the way down THEN those shares will show a LOSS! Engage your brain!
The shares I made a profit on would be in my ISA no tax to be paid, if the other shares are transferred to my normal account then there I can claim and offset!
Bobzio you really need to try harder! And yes I am acutely aware of what I have written in my past posts!
Not according to you most of your shares are freebies that you made by trading them, think your starting to forget what you've said yourself, not everyone who has to get a normal trading account will get it free, some charge a monthly fee......
Hey McFish,
I didn’t deserve your response but I understand your sceptiscm.
I don’t write a lot on boards as I am a pretty inexperienced investor and still learning and researching so at this time I feel I can’t offer a whole lot. I was just confirming I got the corporate action to provide additional evidence that it had been sent..... but on reflection should have pasted the content.
I hold a small position in MTFB (not free shares). I have always understood this share to appear high risk/high reward but as you will see from my lack of posts I am neither a ramper or deramper. I generally have just been an observer in the last few months since I started investing this year.
I am not a day trader, all the capital I can afford (which isn’t a lot) is in various shares. I have more losers than winners at the moment but I am patient and hoping my judgement will come good in the end.
Anyway wasn’t meaning to upset you or anyone.
Cheers.
Bobzio good try but read the small print! Already have a normal account and only pay for trades no monthly charge! Only pay tax on profits! So if I make £100k I have to pay tax on it big deal!
You also forget if they put them into my normal account I can offset this against tax losses!
Oh and the reason they are reminding people what they already know is due to the amount of people suing trading platforms due to zero or poor advice, very much like PPI!
So as I said nothing new, nothing we didn’t know!
I think these banks have done the right thing warning people that they could lose their money soon, then there are the other issues you can't have them in an ISA so you'll have to open a normal trading account, so there will be a monthly charge for that, then there is the tax issue as they wont be in an ISA, yes you'll have to pay tax.......GL though
Eileen13 as I said last night nothing new and nothing we didn’t already know!!!
Same here on Lloyds gla
Eileen13 I shall await your apology in full and in front of everyone now! If it does make a difference to share price on your head be it!
Suspension from trading on the Alternative Investment Market (AIM).
On 28th January 2020, Motif Bio Plc (Motif) announced that the Company and its wholly owned subsidiary, Motif BioSciences Inc, have entered into a loan Amendment and Release agreement with Hercules Capital Inc.
Following the execution of the Hercules Agreement, the Company was reclassified as an AIM Rule 15 cash shell with immediate effect. As such, Motif will be required to make an acquisition which constitutes a Reverse Takeover (RTO) under the AIM Rules within six months, failing which the Company's ordinary shares would be suspended from trading on AIM pursuant to AIM Rule 40 by 28th July 2020. The Company's admission to trading on AIM would then be cancelled six months from the date of suspension, should the reason for the suspension not have been rectified.
On 1st June 2020, Motif has appointed Peel Hunt LLP as strategic adviser to the Company. Peel Hunt has been engaged to provide guidance to the Directors on strategic initiatives including selecting an appropriate Reverse Takeover candidate.
Motif is in negotiations with several RTO candidates in the healthcare sector. At this stage, there can be no assurance that the Company will be able to agree terms with any RTO candidates or complete a RTO transaction.
You should be aware that if you have not sold or otherwise transferred your shares prior to the Suspension from Trading, you will not be able to sell or otherwise deal in them on AIM after that time.
When the Cancellation becomes effective, the Motif shares will no longer be listed on a Recognised Exchange and will no longer qualify to be held within an ISA product. Should you hold these shares within an ISA, we will transfer your Motif shares to your Share Dealing Account once the Cancellation becomes effective. If you do not have a Share Dealing Account, we will arrange to open one for you.
Should you retain your holding of Motify shares, we will notify you on receipt of any further information from the Company.
Should you wish to find more information, please visit the website, www.motifbio.com.
Lol. This whole chat site is full of them Eileen. People trying to mislead others. The ones telling everyone how it will multibag. As they themselves are busy selling. Most don’t even realise the situation Motif is in. They have run out of ideas as to why there isn’t anyone accumulating shares in Motif.
Mcfish2020 no offence taken all is good, like you I get passionate about de-rampers too. Think like myself a lot of people are unsure what we can post on here so didn’t want to post the Halifax information. Just wanted to put everyone’s minds at ease so we could all relax for a bit longer.
Stay safe and stay well.
SD2019, no need for me to wind in my neck matey. Until you posted your reply (which I ticked up) no-one else recognisable had mentioned the actual content of the letter so it seemed that these guys were in a little club and deramping. It's not my intention to offend, just cynical of the naysayers. ATB & GL.
McFx
McFish2020 wind it in a bit! They are all correct Halifax Share Dealing did send out a notification, but as I said on previous post ‘As far as the notification that some of us got on Halifax Share Dealing, the notification is just a reminder of what we were already told and knew. That if a RTO did not happen or an extension did not happen, then the shares would be suspended. This was Halifax covering themselves and making sure their customers were fully aware. Nothing else and nothing new.‘
It’s just Halifax covering themselves and just a reminder about what’s happening, nothing to panic about.
Hope this helps everyone.
Got what KS, a dose of bulls itters disease?
If there was any official news you idiotic single digit posters wouldn't be the only ones to get it FFS, it would be released in an RNS not through the derampers club of which you must be a member!
Anyone else here see the elusive/invisible Halifax news release? No. I thought not!!
love as always McFx
Yup on my Halifax too. Not overly worried tbh.
