The shares opened at around $2.67 and closed at $2.24 so looks like we will go lower today. Perhaps institutions were selling into liquidity caused by the news release? Also the company said in the accounts that it needs to raise funds as it only has enough cash to last until the second quarter of 2020.
It's all there in the rns's I'm not telling anyone where to look but like smoking joe says this is a steal.. gla

Because its laden with money
I’m posting my thoughts having done some research this evening - is that ok? You’ve been ramping this one hard since the RNS & I’m guessing you got spiked at 45p?
- Invesco are selling down in a lot of pharma holdings as they need to raise cash to meet fund redemptions. Highly likely they will sell the rest.
- Link are responsible for selling Woodford holdings to raise cash so that money can be returned to investors & his fund can be wound up - they aren’t speculating on shares.
- Yes pharma’s burn cash, but I wasn’t aware just how high the burn rate was here until I reviewed the cash flow statement in the interim results - £27m operating cash burn for 6 months is massive.
You are right that Woodford/Invesco present opportunities, but timing it right is vital - ETX, TRX, CIR are perfect examples of this.
Jester16, how is the bank fully loaded?
12-Month Topline Results from Phase 2b ASTEROID Study with Setrusumab for Osteogenesis Imperfecta (OI) Expected in Q4 2019; Positive 6-Month Data to be Featured in Late-Breaking Oral Presentation at ASBMR 2019
Coming to you soon in an rns
More news to come and bank fully loaded. Gla
Closed equivalent to 35p on Nasdaq, so expect a drop tomorrow. I wouldn’t invest here at present due to Invesco & Link selling down 37% of the company + Mereo need to raise significant funds this year - they burned through £27m of cash in the half year to June 19, so may have between £5-10m remaining at present. Once they raised funds & have no overhang it may be interesting.

MREO was 8th highest non warrant climber on the NAS. 259.5c at 12.33pm USA time.
Shown as up 23.57% since previous close.
Todays high: 295c. Low: 236c.
RNS on 17th Oct said Woodford reduced from 27.56% to 8%. Another RNS on 18th Oct said Link Fund Solutions went from 0% to 19.55%. That was the 19.55% from the Woodford deal the day before. The shares weren't actually sold, they were transferred.
I have searched through other RNS' to see if Link Fund Solutions have actually sold any and they haven't.
Schroders might have taken Woodfords final 8% on 16th Dec in which case none of woodfords holding have actually been sold yet.
£62k trade appearing
I'm not de-rampring, just correcting an earlier post where someone said Woodford were out. 19.55% of Woodford shares went to Fund Solutions as follows:-
15th Oct 2019 (RNS 17th Oct): Woodford reduce 27.56% to 8%
15th Oct 2019 (RNS 18th Oct): Link Fund Solutions 0% to 19.55%
16th Dec 2019 (RNS 18th Dec) Woodford reduce 8% to 0%
13th Dec 2019 (RNS 16th Dec) Schroders 0% to 8%
Schroders bought 8%, but the RNS date was before the Woodford 8% to 0% date. Did Schroders buy Woodfords 8%?
The Mereo website still says Link Fund have 19.55% and Schroders have 8.00%.
See https://www.mereobiopharma.com/investors/shareholder-information/shareholder-analysis/significant-shareholding/
and another £20k buy reported @ 40.0p
When you start getting them all the time, that's when it starts to get interesting.
