It would be nice if the SP able to stay at this level after going ex-dividend. But most likely it will fall more than the divi as always. Probably a good idea to sell before it goes ex-dividend, then back buy back afterwards. This is not a recommendation though. Please DYOR.πππ
Just checked last year divi and you are correct seen it. Would be great to hit the 14p. Expecting SP to rise over the coming month to Β£2.30 as punters buy for divi.
Last year's final was 13.4p. if they increase it by 5%, then it will be 14.07p (at least 14p)! For me, I am happy with just 13.4p. It's already good enough.
Total div for 2023 likely to be in the range of last year + up to 5% per share.
The cash cost is about Β£500m paβ¦.why would they want to add up to 25m to the cash outflow.
Ideally they need to have more dividend cover so as low an increment that the main investors will let them get away with is in order.
Looks like it could be 13p ?? Any thoughts or Predictions. Not long to go now.
No one listens to the downgrade today. The SP goes up strongly. In fact it has past or reached or getting closer to all of these so called experts' target prices, and Β£2.40 is looking possible once again, lol. π π π
JPMorgan raises M&G price target to 235 (220) pence - 'neutral'
UBS cuts M&G to 'neutral' (buy) - price target 235 (220) pence
Hahaha, think I am getting more and more obsessed with the get rich quick scheme. It's now winter. Will be cold without my shirt and pants. So, hope that I am not going to lose them, lol π πππ
Sidi, i can't keep up with you mate, i would probably end up losing my home and my shirt and pants if i tried that, but it sounds like you are having great fun with it, i hope your gains will outdo your losses
best of luck with your new adventures
Good evening robleo, sorry to reply you late. For I didn't come to this BB for more than a day, lol.
Well, in fact I have done quite a few sales and purchases in the past 24 hours. If you read the lloy BB, then you should know that I have sold my lloy shares for a 1.5p per share loss. I have also sold my Barc and PSN too yesterday. I made profits on these two. Then I have topped up RR and MKS (twice in a day but both were down since addedπ‘π‘). RR was closed down as well yesterday but up quite a bit today.
I have also applied for the PNN placing, which has dropped to below the placing price yesterday on the first day of its admission for trafing, but again it has recouped all the losses and well up today.ππ
Today, I have bought easyJet after reading the Bank of America's recommendation. Now you can see how busy I am, lol.ππ
I hope things will get better for you this year. My best wishes to you, have a very good evening and a nice weekend, mate.
Good evening sidi, well let's hope Friday will be a bit kinder to us
What is your strategy with your shares, are you thinking of selling some off before exdiv and taking profits
with hindsight i could have sold a lot of my shares off that way last year and bought them all back for a lot less in the summer time, but no idea if it will work out like that this year, knowing my luck interest rates and inflation will drop and the shares will increase after i sold them
regards to vod, i added more at 86p, if i can get a bit above that i will sell off my last purchase and maybe leave the rest there to grow or rot what ever the case may be, vod is one of my smallest holdings so not that concerned about it
lloyds and lgen are my largest, another little push up to Β£15 and i will be in profit with psn, i only have 3 shares in profit at the moment that's lgen/aviv/mng, Lloyds has just slipped back into the red again as usual just seems to struggle to get past 50p
best of luck mate
I have done it again. Spoke too soon, lolπππ
Hey robleo, you are right. Seem that the Santa rally is now over. Most of my shares are retreating, except PSN. But it isn't too bad yet. The FTSE100 future is up. Let's hope that today will be an up day. By the way, VOD is doing better than expected though. You have recouped some of your losses from its low, I believe. Anyway wish you the very best mate. Have a great day.
Sidi, all the share prices are slipping away from us, I told you to sell everything, why didn't you listen to me, I'm only joking of course
Used to have a habbit of sinking into the 180s, has been holding fast and strong even when the market was falling, my normal entry pre Div was always well under 200 but seem to be bucking the trend lately
Yes LoggyLogbot, MNG is very slow burn indeed. Holders must have a bit of patience, in order to reap the rewards.
Yes snakeeyes, I know you are one of the most faithful followers of MNG. I hope that you are right. Β£2.50 is better than Β£2.40. So, I don't mind at all, lol.
You have a great day too, my friend and good luck.
It never was Seen_it, as I keep telling you, we will be at Β£2.50 this year and when we reach that (and hold above), who knows from there!
Best of luck
I've been watching this one creep up too - it's being going up with others on 'good' market days, but held steady when the markets have drifted back down.
Slowly, slowly, catch the monkey. It does look like that 240 isn't impossible anymore.
Hi Trotsky, Happy new year and hope you and the family had a nice Christmas. Just read your post of the 15th Dec and checked the 3 trust you mention AEI & TFIF look good, a silly question (Only silly when you don't know the answer ) The Fees and On going chargers do you have to pay them out of the dividend or is that already taken out. If you have to pay then the Dividend yield is less that what is stated.
Have only brought share before. Thanks, Hope 2024 is a good one for you but not as good as mine. ( Smiley face)
It's already 223.7p. There is only 1.3p upside. What's the point for holding? What a bunch of jokers!! Lolπ π π
Now, can it hold on to the gain this time?
Well, let's hope so anyway.
GLA, and enjoy your evening.
Thanks Trotsky, I will take a look at all of them later
