So now what happens? Any ideas
Well, there was 3 weeks ago when this 6 bagged in 24hrs! Now? I'm not buying but good luck to anyone that is :-)
Is there money to be made here at all ?
Are there any specific rules to say they couldn't?
Wow, that was close! MCL just got their LSE cancellation vote through by the skin of their teeth!
What I don't get is why didn't any of the directors buy some shares when it was at 0.30p? Could've bought 10% of the company for just £30,000! The price reached 2.10p the next day but had the directors been buying too I think we could've seen 3p, 4p, even 5p like we did with MEAL. They could've made some money for themselves too. Just shows some of these people in charge aren't very bright lol I'm happy with my 350% profit! so grateful for that opportunity anyway! :-)
Whoa, in the 0.3s now, that was quick
When everyone dumps all the shares who is going to be picking them up? The company? Gamblers? Just interested in thoughts opinions
Here we go - into the 0.4s now
Whilst not obviously the case for everyone .. Freetrade have stopped buying and only allow sells until delisting so isn’t anyone going to be buying shares between now and then on that platform at least
Ah well you takes your chances an all that
What happens if it is withdrawn....
"The Matched Bargain Facility will operate for a minimum of twelve months after Cancellation. The Directors' current intention is that it will continue beyond that time but Shareholders should note that it could be withdrawn. Further details will be communicated to Shareholders at the relevant time"
No immediate sell off. Maybe people hasn't got hold of the news yet...
Presumably the effect will be that all shareholders who do not want to be part of a company no longer listed will now sell during the next week, with an accompanying sp drop I guess
It was very close - they needed 75% to agree and they got just 75.17% !!
RNS out cancelation date is effective 13th Feb; I wonder what the effect will be.
Golden tickets?
I voted against.
I'm one of the poor suckers who bought arou d 54p, not a huge amount, about £1650 but now worth a few pounds.
I have them in my Isa and have been informed they can't be held there if the company goes private, so after fees etc, transfering them out really would leave pennies. So I'd rather see the **** poor management go under
Another Tree Shake........................ I wonder how many coconuts will fall off and lose their golden tickets!
Thanks
How would one even go about voting if they held shares in on Freetrade or similar
Large shareholder owns 34% and most pi,s will not vote. Vote will succeed
Because they lost 2 big investors that were going to vote yes overnight which from memory was around 8% of the voting rights. And they only had +- 50% of the votes. Happy to stand corrected.
I guess we find out tomorrow
If they fail to get the votes, what then?
So tomorrow is D-Day....or voting day in this case.
We should know by the afternoon if this is staying or going.....good luck to all involved.
Well it depends what their plan is after the failed attempt to delist this....
One, they might say they will keep it on the market, then I think the price will initially rise quite a bit. After that it depends on their longer terms plans....and will it last etc....
Second, they immediately say they want to go for a second vote....then I think the price will also rise but not as much as the uncertainty will still be there. I guess it also depends on the % vote they miss it by. If it's by far then the chances of them getting it a second time around is slim unless they have someone with deep pockets that can buy up stcok, which will also mean a short term gain in share price. .....
In my humble opinion....
