Bought today at 8.03 for 16.5 p sold for 29p an hour later 4ks worth
bit chuffed off did my homework never expected it to do what it did today caught me out as Im in process of freeing up funds.couple of my other watchlist stocks moved up as well dont know if Ive missed boat but will keep an eye on these.Seems to be a lot of positivity in building sector at mo.
Respect your honesty, I have done well withTW,persimmon and barratt. and TW in particular panicked me on more than one occassion!! Will hold on for a couple of days and hope for some substantial rises, however if it starts an obvious downward spiral I can get out. Having done as much research as I can I actually hope these will perform.
at moment who thought the country would be in the mess its in rbs tw barc many others were these sound ,at the end of day I think these r worth a punt as I did with rbs and tw and have made profit on both .Its your call Im certainly no windowman you have the same info at your fingertips as me.
So are we saying, which is really the point I was making earlier that the st pancras project is not the reason this has risen but that the company is sound and worth being in. value your opinion
equates to about £200,000 would that really affect the sp probably would pay the wages for a week
Any thoughts: this site shows sp at close 26p. On google and yahoo it shows 27p Also - I Believe the st pancras development is a big ongoing development project. MBH have already supplied 500,000 bricks. Could it be the case that a phase of the development has been stopped/delayed?.
dont know but I have earmarked 4 building stock to buy inc this one 3 are up 1 even this one up 60% 1@ 16% 1@3% maybe things are on way up dont know or maybe everyones happy after the easter break LOL
one site will not make a difference to these the new st pancras contract is for around 250000 bricks at around 35p-40p a brick trade you do the maths it would take a lot of bricks to affect these millions in fact
Any additional opinions would be very welcome. Many thanks
Appreciate that thankyou. Also appreciate your thoughts. If I am correct the deal re St pancras was announced on March 2, then the shares fell and then rose early April. so is there something else pushing the share or should I really be worried. Regards
so you know mate im the same no udate let me speak to my friend and find out where they are for you !!! Matsui look at eatonfield efd and look what happened to them in a matter of days!! The same was based on one site!""" In the words of sanatra do it your WAY!!
Dont understand. this is continually showing 26.50 and even pressing refresh shows no change-unlike other share sites. Other share sites are showing this at @28. any thoughts please
Fair point. I think I'll hold for a couple of days and see what happens. dont want to make a loss but nothing ventured nothing gained
wait and see i may be wrong but how else do you explain the sudden rise!?!? Only my view wait and see how it goes my friend!>
Surely the price rise has not been based purely on one big contract
The huge job that has been proposed for these guys has been dropped Slow worms have been found on site this will push back the development date by years time to leave well alone.
hope ur in didnt think it would go this quick missed boat as dont have funds yet
Having had months of daily action on TW this is clearly going to be much slower. Is it the case that it will rise in the morning sit all day retrace a bit and rise again the next day? Tell me I havnt bought a pup!
Ok, well that relieves my anger somewhat; but the truth of the matter is Barx has been playing up like this for weeks, and as I said I couldn't deal anything regardless of which company. More alarming is the fact I can't sell anything if I needed to!! Only way of doing it is to set a limit order that is already beyond the price so it goes through immediately. (Even this wouldn't work for MBH earlier though)
Thats whats happened with me trying to buy mbh at 18p this morning on hoodless brennan. I cant buy them now either, didnt someone say all the shares had been bought? I tried to get live quotes on hoodless brennan with other shares when i sold my rbs shares earlier and that was alright.
Quite expect a retrace mid afternoon as daytraders pull out. GL
****ED OFF. Went to buy at about 8.20 at 20p, yet again ****y barclays was appaulingly slow, and would not let me deal anything (there was also another stock I was going to get into) what a pile of w***. Is it possible to transfer your existing portfolio to a new stockbroker? Or do you have to keep your old stock with your existing one?
28.6 Live. Seems to be falling a bit, probably a few people taking profit i expect.
