yeh im still in TW sitting on a nice profit. Only been playing shares the last 2 months and already showing a little profit overall as im learning my trade. i think the boards are very useful showing me where the activity is and learning whats good news and whats bad.... and yeh nootame its been a great game tonight.
best game of the year, Spurs myself, makes a change to watch a game lol
Agree these sites are a great way to learn Windowman was great (always DYOR) and in fairness having bought my original TW's at 9.5 I panicked at 4 and nearly sold the lot, it was only reading the postings and realising that loads of people felt it was worth hanging on that I did. Eventually bought more including some at 20p!!
I dont know mate, long term, taylor wimpey below 50p is believed to be a good punt. Johnie tipped me MBH and he also tipped eatonfield last week, I dont know where he gets his info, DYOR before you sell your soul lol
on my watchlist up over 16% today LWB quite a big international co just agreed share option to raise funds supply fabrics to all kinds of industries inc the construction ind
I get your point, I think generally SP s are low. and all good companies will rise significantly, I hope things will now get better
I saw your post last week but unfortuantly forgot it over the weekend so missed out. DOH! So whats your next big tip? Can you find us another sleeping beauty this week?
I agree, you dont have to listen to anyone on here, but its a good way to learn, and there are some decent helpful people on here, ie windowman
maybe you got your figures wrong.
Mine's on at 08.39 ,3000 @23p
It was me who said about cost of bricks Im in the trade with quantities like that about 40p each I was just trying make you realise that a few hundred thou bricks is insignificant in the scheme of things.
no idea, I deal with natweststockbrokers, and it shows as both executed in my account, both on T3
I mentioned these on TW yesterday and again this morning and felt I got my a**e kicked by a couple of people. I agree the purpose of these sites is to share info, if people dont want to share they wont come on board, but I feel that those who do are ultimately looking for a few pointers. After all if I hadnt read Nootames postings I probably wouldnt have investigated MBH
it was swift wasnt it, but if your up im pleased. It is a prestigous company, Someone earlier said about the cost of a brick, these supply top of the range, not your average house brick or roofing tile.
think the housing mkt may level off after encouraging spring and summer figures through the winter until next spring then the real fun will start just my opinion
baught 3k's worth at 8.03, sold an hour latter at 29p, why do neither of your trades show up on any site then?
I agree there were only three posts on here the other day and one was mine you have to share how else do these BBs get moving.
i think the bottoms been hit, i think oil and banks are the riskiest now, banks are still a worry
buy this morning tried all sorts of buys 1k 2k and 5k
to tell a few people on tw forum as well, i dont see a problem with cross forum chat were all buddies together, all trying to do the same thing, but 3.5 k in an hour is my best yet, i have to say lol
I had to pay 23p at half past eight, still with a close at 26 I feel ok
Agree the building sector is starting to settle down a bit, I was made redundant in December - been a Sales Manager for a number of the PLC's for 20 years so hopefully as the market picks up I can get back in. currently living on my income protection policy which I had the good fortune to take out early last year so have a bit of a safety net for a year. Therefore used redundancy to start playing with shares and enjoying the ups and downs!!
