Not surprised by the buying coming in, MAC with such small MCAP is extremely interesting.
weardalelithium
Here at Weardale Lithium we want to be part of the solution to help the UK move towards a greener future. Lithium planned to be extracted from Weardale will be used in local businesses to build electric cars.?

Yep I agree Share, the potential with this one is massive and with so few shares it could race away.
My other wild card is TOM and if the PQE deal goes through then TOM will be the next hostile takeover.
Looked at various below £3mio MCAP shares and the one I liked most was MAC and have taken therefore a very small position for me over the last few days, and taken an even smaller position in DKE in that sub £3mio category as more risky. Will keep these just as a long term fun corner and will not post any further as it's really small in my portfolio (you can see on @Stefano_shares what else I keep medium term). The matter which intrigued me was the fact that Luke Johnson bought approx 9% and sits on the board now, plus the fact that the financials are much better than other sub £3mio mcap companies. Time will tell.
Same story with Tomco, one hell of a ride with its ups and downs
Well if not the bottom I will continue buying as I see amazing value here at such a mkt cap. Been in Mac so many years in total and it sure has been a rollercoaster.

Booster for Omicron and now booster for decarbonisation? AstraZeneca has unveiled a new partnership to build a plant to generate biomethane to power and heat its UK sites.
Just been retweeted by FB -
I think you may have topped up near or at the bottom so good timing. It looks as though it wants to go higher from here. I still think this is under the radar and has been over 4p in recent weeks so a return to this level would be normal.
Added a few today at 2.64p. Allowed me a week settlement at no extra cost. Mkt rather weak it seems so we may go lower and towards 2p or something.
The AstraZeneca deal is huge for Future Biogas today -
But its also has big carbon capture projects -

Future Biogas partners with Northern Lights to capture carbon and put it undersea. Makes more sense to do this than to try to capture air CO2 at 400 ppm. And save some for domestic CO2 use, of course. Beer is important! Beer mug
....some savvy buyers picking up plenty shares here.. was it dropped to fill a big fat order??? Hmmmm news soon then id suspect!
Totally agree that some patience is required here and we will reap the rewards next year. Meanwhile, I have added a few more this week and feel the SP will move upwards from this level.
Thank you. So cheap at this type of price and mkt cap. Just have to be a little patient
Oh and by the way, very good call from you.
Will just continue to dirft until some form of news.
Should have waited. A day later and the price is below 3.05 to buy. Added more.
"So if I can buy at around 3.3 as the bored sell up…."
Added a few today at 3.30. Will add more daily if the price continues to fall.
A bit of digging reveals some exciting prospects:-
It's worth noting this link on the former cement works / quarry in Weardale which was previously planned to be a green energy village.
hTTps://www.thenorthernecho.co.uk/news/15470612.owner-working-solution-weardale-cement-works-site-believes-eco-village-never-likely-happen/
The largest shareholder in Weardale Lithium, Mark Tellwright, happens to own this quarry works and surrounding land. See link below.

I suspect after the £100m green energy / eco village plans around the former quarry didn't materialise for the local community that there will be plenty of grants available for WLL to accelerate sourcing lithium as a resource to supply green energy to the nearby car / battery plants. Here's the link for the previous plans for the cement works.
hTTps://www.thenorthernecho.co.uk/news/15461279.15-years-millions-spent-nothing-show---frustration-weardale-marks-15th-anniversary-cement-works-closure/
It also looks like Dr David Manning, with funds from Newcastle University, has been involved in exploration in Weardale way back in 2004.
hTTps://jgs.lyellcollection.org/content/164/2/371
It looks like WLL and of course MAC with their 8.7% holding are sitting on an exploration area that was going to be a £100m green energy site.
solid week here, id be happy with more of the same next week.
Remember folks if you're buying in today you're doing it all wrong! Agree though that 2p baseline supported more now with LJ on board paying market price. Ignore the rampers, you may well find yourself getting spiked. Lots in the pipeline so great opportunity, just be careful listening to baseless claims of higher SPs
Soooooo close now
be nice to see 5p breached
Ready to blow, still can’t buy and sell price ticking up regularly!!
Should be a good afternoon
still cannot buy any...hmmm
Somebody buying nice chunks this morning
Gone nt to buy again
