"I am not sure why it's unfortunate "
Being years from making any money is unfortunate. OBVIOUSLY. This is a business. Not a service.
Yes; And we are in at the start. Weardale is pretty much not factored in to the share price imho. And has the potential to transform MAC
I am not sure why it's unfortunate WL is less than a year old and recently raised at 36m valuation. I would say that is impressive.
Along with government grants they are in a great situation.
So we are many years off from anything other than exploration. Unfortunately.
They will extract the brine from the 2 boreholes that are already in place, which have already extracted water with good results tests ongoing.
Also geothermal energy could be produced to make the site carbon neutral.
WL plant will be built on a brownfield site that is owned by the main WL share holder.
WL hasn't broken soil yet.
Taken a position in this today, quiet on the board given its rise, any opinions on their investments, particularly weardale lithium
A profitable small cap company. Isn't that an oxymoron?
Agreed on all points
Profit of over 2.56 million. Weardale lithium stake worth 2.8 million. Business doing well with directors confident of a good year. Is there a cheaper listed company in the U.K.? At this mkt cap? No. I reckon they will sell Weardale stake for up to 10 million in time and return 5p in cash to shareholders. That’s my guess.
Lots of volume today. A bot is constantly selling 50K at 3p or 2.95p or otherwise the price would be 3.5p today.
how much %age stake do mac still have in future biogas?
loads of good things going on. Here we are back at 3p
A company actually investing at a higher price rather than always looking for cheaper funding. Confident Mac will reward us
Its always owned that percentage of the company.
By Mac not for Mac. Weardale lithium at a significant premium to last time. Mac will now own 8.5 per cent of the company. That may mean the value of that stake is worth double the mkt cap of Mac.
In this terrible market I am looking for out of love shares with solid backing. This absolutely ticks the boxes. Adding on weakness.
