Dogs,
Look at the numbers. Already the majority of working / voting age people in Northern Ireland (according to 2016 numbers) sees the Catholic population in the majority by a fair margin. This will increase over times. A simple referendum in 20 to 30 years will see a United Ireland. At least then the backstop issue would be resolved :-).
One things for sure ... I’m down the pawnbrokers tomorrow to get my euros they were giving 1.1295 .... get a thousand pounds worth for my holiday before it drops on Monday

''say no or just give a week''
They could also say 2 years
Roswell i cant believe you think a United Ireland will happen well i can tell it will NEVER NEVER NEVER happen the Scot s might go independent but how they will survive will there ast few barrels of oil left in the north sea i dont kown
Hooky
Thank you very much for you benign paternalism. I so agree that the skilled and articulate Westminster Government would look after us poor and illiterate Scots so much better than anything we can do. Thank you, I doff my virtual cloth cap to you.
rosewall what independence do you not have now that you will have being in eu apart from suckling from the teet down south
BREXIT will never happen.Since the Conservatives have messed everything else up over the last 10 years why would this be any different. The man is an oaf and opened the debate like a bellowing bullock. No wonder his family jumped ship, the only plan he had was to get the PM job on his CV.These Con Leaders are very low of intellect and none of them have a strategy as to how to get us out of EU whatsoever, never mind unite or run a Country.Luxembourg showed the true Doris, cut and run like the supposed vote on the EU Treaty today.
He has made us an even bigger laughing stock, and putting it bluntly he makes Cameron and May look smart.Churchill would have kicked him out the door within 10 minutes. As a reasoned leaver I am amazed at how poorly he reads the mood of the Country.Get him out of town on one of his stupid bikes, and do it now.
Now I will have a nice night and a few single malts.Brexit don`t make me laugh.
Evening all.
Extention requires all 28 to agree, if Uk abstain then tough. No deal, the Commons had a choice.

In hindsight now on March 29th the EU should have said you can have a 1 year extension but if you sort it out by then come back to us if not you can have another year until you do sort it out ... would have made more sense
The Benn Act does indeed state the end of January 2020 and, yes, the EU can say no or just give a week. I have no issue with that. As I said, I would love a hard Brexit so Scotland and Ireland can become independent. I voted to leave, along with many others, to ensure a second independence referendum. How England and Wales get by afterwards is of no interest or concern of mine. I only have two goals. An independent Scotland and a United Ireland.

Under the surrender act, an extension to the 31st Jan is required to be ask for BUT the EU
can come up with any date it wants and we are supposed to accept.
Junker and others in the EU have publically stated that an extension would not be granted.
People have learnt however in recent times how the EU conduct themselves.
He will send a letter but, as far as i understand matters, the Benn Act specifies the end of January 2020.
And if BloJo ignores the rule of law and does not go for an extension this evening then the Courts will step in and do it for him. I would love a hard Brexit, Scotlan would become an independent country together with a United Ireland. I'm sure England and Wales will enjoy their new life together.
For those that missed debate , BJ confirming we're having a hard Exit on Halloween.

May well be laughing her head off, but continuing delay does nothing for business and antagonises the public even more. MPs have once again forgotten they are our servants and if there is a further delay, there will be a bloodletting at the next GE.
Very true Levis but I am not sure what country you are referring too.
Meanwhile Theresa May is sitting back with a G&T laughing her socks off. "Now you know what it 's like you bar steward"
He has until 11pm tonight to send a letter, it doesn't mean that our leaving date will change, Boris will follow the law.
Boris could have an ace up his sleeve :-)
Back to 50p next week.
