"Where is Falky today ?"
Not sure, but I saw some bloke shouting "Come on horsey!" outside of the stock exchange this morning - probably a coincidence.
I notice above,Charlie's xmas stocking is already filling up nicely with hundreds and thousands of shares, so must be our turn soon for some nibbles, enjoy the day, dyor.
Charlies message will be "bah humbug"
LOL
Charlie's message, let's hope Charlie is putting the final touches to his statement, dressing it up like a xmas tree, with dividends neatly wrapped up underneath, and on the top of the tree a special all lit up,and colored lights pointing to the future expectations of dividends with baubles of many colours, and the tree firmly rooted for long term growth, have a great day,not long to go now ,use your best pen Charlie and make xmas joyful again, dyor.
About time this pushed on now, feels like it's stagnating a little when it needs real momentum to push on through the 50 mark
BOE need to sort their game out they are pandering to children & chancers with low rates. Increase rates & savings will rocket I must admit I would like to transfer some of my stock back into cash savings but its not worth it . I just keep a float for emergencies these days. But lets hope for another 52 week record high very soon. 50 50 50 50
Hope what we hear is true and about time to,boe being proactive in sorting this interest rate out ,the pain will be felt, but it is necessary to get a balance to our economy
Strengthening expectations that the Bank of England will hike interest rates in November dragged London markets down today.

10 out of 14 sectors reported output growth in September, up from nine in August.
Hospitality businesses outpaced the rest of the UK economy for the first time in more than nine years during September, according to the latest Lloyds Bank UK Recovery Tracker.
Tourism and recreation (62.2) – which includes pubs, hotels, restaurants, leisure facilities and travel agents – was the fastest growing UK sector monitored by the Tracker for the first time since January 2012. A reading above 50 signals output is rising, while a reading below 50 indicates contraction.

I said this yesterday, the Pension funds are buying back now,
Banks should be ok for a couple of years, if interest rate gradually rises , I expect we see Dividends ramp up and buy backs etc
This actually reminds me back in 2013, I messed up big time, seeing the share bounce around the 50p mark and sold half at 54p and the second half at 60p after 4 years of ramping I here for my 80p plus.
Only to see Lloyds shares hit 80p plus 6 / 12 months later in 2014 , I was told by my brother in the city that the big funds started buying around the time, I thought it was a good time to start trading. Oops
The next 18 months or so I just going to sit back and smoke my pipe and watch how this plays out.
Keep the Faith all :-)
