Wonga went into my account yesterday
Songs should be wonga
If I am correct we should receive our songs on Monday if you have said Yes to the offer
Does not seem to be any takeout likely so I have said yes and will reinvest 66% in safe and boring.
andy, you're not exposed to markets with a recommended cash offer. the opposite, in fact.
i think "relative pittance" is correct. sad to see it go. it's growing, profitable. surely more upside than 12p? competing bidder?
Thanks spindok. My gut is telling me that this SP is for the assets with nuppence for the fact this is just starting to become profitable i.e the goodwill. I reckon its red rag in a very small market of big competitors; so there is a reasonable chance of a higher counter quite soon. It did make my mind up to take some more Glaxo today!!!
yep well done all, I have sold out want to reduce my exposure to the markets so this was a good bonus this morning
I have learnt the hard way in being loyal. I always now take the profit on deals as they have a habit of turning sour...Still good luck. You too showed a bit of courage when the price fell..
Well, despite my questions, I've sold out, too. I was trying a dummy sale for my holding and was offered 11.47p. I did wonder if it was worth the wait (and the uncertainty) for an extra 0.5p. No guarantee of a counter offer, so, like you, spindok, I thought 'don't look this gift horse in the mouth. You've made a decent profit'. (I was in at just under 7.2p ).
To oldabutnowisa and other LTHs - I wish you good luck and that you realise the full 12p (or more should an improved offer be made).
But I will stick around. Might still get a contest. The sale price is not over-generous, Well done all LTHs!
Fair enough, spindok.
Wonder what others think of a potential counter offer and/or the chances of this offer failing, along with timescales for this thing to work through if this offer goes ahead?
Gift horse .. under present climate I have taken the money and run... Always pays to re read and consider an rns even if the price falls..
Dont usually like Mondays... I doubled my holdingbhere on the interims when it dropped..gl all holders..
Congrats all! 12p cash well done. I was in here and HZD but sold for other opportunities. Nonetheless I am really pleased for holders. PI’s need all the breaks they can get!
Trek
I'll take that thank you very much
Seller out of the way and normal service resuming? I should think so, although it has given me the opportunity for a couple of sneaky top-ups at what appear to me to be stupidly low prices (I paid 6.145p and 6p respectively for the last couple of top-ups).
Hmmm - that's what I thought, oldabutnowisa.....and the sp drops.
This is one maddening share. At some point the market will have to wake up and re-rate or, as you say, the company will be taken out (for a relative pittance)
....Eiffel bought back its original holding. Cannot see this independent much longer.
This SP is barely better than they were before Covid and that has turned them to profit. 'No brainer' at this price or less and, as everyone knows, that applies to me! Will not stay independent longer .
Strange reaction the interims. I thought they were very good. The seller took the opportunity to lower their holding and made the situation difficult to interpret. Having waited I consider the time right to add...
If these fall back more I'll be tempted to go in again. Should be about 24p by my reckoning. Prime bid material at this level, I agree, but in this market impossible to predict!
Yes, the sale was only a small % of Eiffel's total holding, from 10.11% down to 9.74% so less than one million shares but that's still a lot for Lidco and price has actually held up well imho. I've been a holder since about 2002/2003, and waiting for the buy out :)
Looks like we've had a seller reducing their exposure (according to the last RNS). Hopefully they're out of the way now and this can get moving forward.
Been here a while myself and in at an average of 7.8p but still having the occasional top-up as and when funds come free (last top-up last week).
4P - it may need the next RNS , America rebuying for general ops and covid, Brazil approval translating into sales, there is no seller just a lack of market pick up - as you say at some not too distant point it will move (upwards) and then the bags will show.
The Saas part of their sales is great providing stable future incomes to grow the business, all as per the last RNS.
One that I am holding and not running away from, happy to have bought in on the back of the last RNS... imo has at least one bag in it , maybe a lot more depending upon the level of news.
