IN4C, I don't wish to be a damp squib on the recently announced elated news but, any activity within South America is likely to be a fairly distant time line, and an expensive one. I'm hoping LK already has an acreage or knowledge of a licence in an oil sodden area that he wishes to attain otherwise, this could be a long process. That said; if he can expedite / enhance Goudron at limited costs for maximum return - then all the better. I'm just staying 'Switzerland' until a potential field with confirmed CPR in South America comes about.
Let's hope it ain't Triggers broom ffs !!
Porker - you've been slating NR for years and now you're suggesting the new man won't be able to meet your needs, without knowing what he is going to do, surely you are happy there is a new man at the helm! Leo hasn't been too expansive on the big plan yet but the opening slide at the presentation gave a hint that South America was his oyster so even people like you who don't see great potential in the current assets can have hope for the future. If you don't see any potential here a sensible investor would consider selling up and moving cash to a more appealing prospect.
For those that missed the Stock Tube video. On a side note; I'd still like answers from LK at his Share Talk interview regards how he believes he will generate enough free cash flow from Goudron field to support new operations. http://www.proactiveinvestors.co.uk/companies/stocktube/7438/south-america-the-new-focus-for-lgo-energy-plc-executive-chairman-leo-koot-7438.html
A smooth transition is desirable in these circumstances for all parties - the company has already agreed there is an important role for Neil in dealing with the Spanish concession renewal and clearly he has other important knowledge to pass on - these additional costs will, hopefully, be seen as inconsequential in the overall scheme of things, if the company achieves anything like the progress attributed to the new man's aspirations!
you have praised ritson forty times a day for the last eon. What made you see the blinding light that has been in our eyes for so long?
If I was LK I would tell NR to walk away NOW or I would get the fine tooth comb out and get the evidence needed to push him . New broom and all that .
LLL But there will likely be departures as well so we may end up back where we started, severance costs aside. Hopefully NR is on some form of zero hours contract rather than a retainer.
Must be going up substantially with new people coming on board and NR acting as senior consultant.
"what they are dealing with"
magical_trevor Wait and see. Can only be better than the old regime. That's a good start. We have seen that some due diligence has already been done and that there is some semblance of a plan. This means that, while they are now in the process of giving the tyres a good kicking, they are not going to walk away just because they come across a few more things that they don't like. After they have finished kicking the tyres, I would imagine that there will be further departures and thereafter very little, if any, NR involvement. At that point we should hopefully get a better idea of what they find are dealing with, what their plans are, what tools they have at their disposal and generally how they compare and contrast with the previous management (including, crucially for LTHs, in their attitude to shareholder value).
To this week, among making some pallet furniture for BBQ area and painting the fence I'm all over this week. I feel like I've missed a little top up,but I'm more than happy to just hold and watch this baby fly over the coming months GL all TT12
Sorry I picked you up wrong
Sorry salmo but i thought I'd make a point to some of the other posters, how important it is Not to rely on 2nd Hand information
BMB it didn't make sense it was kinda a drunk rant . The the next day he said he thought it better to let the new staff get on with it ........ I really don't have anything nice to say about him
Lmao since. When did the truth not come out after a couple of dry sherries :p
BMB I think the fat twat was perhaps on the dry sherry , the rant kinda didn't make sense, He has been remarkably quiet ..... embarrassed
Is DL blaming NR for the loss of the down hole equipment? Because his tweets... Firstly he says he certainly wouldn't screw up a well Then later on he says he left the wrong people in charge?
Richie , I bet the fat Aussie has been trying to kiss his bum already . When Ritson was about the fat twat always knew when to buy I can't stand the fat turd
getrich - it was a bizarre series of tweet, so worth reading to see how ridiculous Lenigas is. Basically DL was saying - he'd never heard of Koot. Then seemingly rather offended that Koot is dutch. Saying he doesn't trust him (even though he previously says he has no clue who he is, doh) It came across as stupid, arrogant, and very much like his monstrous ego has been sorely dented by the fact the new CEO was in a different class to any of the Jermyn St mob. Koot is in a different league to Lenigas.
Peter I don't know one of the more knowledgeable poster may know . I don't know how many are on pump now
Does anybody know just how many wells are producing oil, contributing to the bopd total? I ask because it would be nice to know how many would benefit from a downhole pump, without accelerating the decline rate too much. Would 2 or 3 or 4 or more for each one make a significant contribution?
I rather hear stuff straight from the horses mouth, I'm sorry and should have known reading about 10tweets might be a lot to take in
Bilbo, Thank you, but I didn't really want to trawl through his catalogue of nonsense to find his LGO comments. I just hoped another would educate me with what he said. S4LMO, Ta muchly.
