"Just makes you think, why did they sell on such lows?"
There could be a thousand reasons why she sold £12k worth of shares. The market is crashing. It's much more likely to have nothing to do with NEX.
I’m on iWeb, which is under the umbrella of Halifax, and my dividends aren’t showing. Earlier I was checking my RIO purchase dates thinking I’ve got confused, but no I bought way before the ex-div. I’m sure it will be there in the morning.
Yes, I was surprised at the lack of movement here.
Chaps, just look at your end of day broker price to confirm the end of day price...
You all sound like you’ve got tin foil hats on...It’s not manipulation.
This website’s closing price is notoriously buggy, so never worry about that, and the Google price is the last trade that went through the system, which can be a late reported trade from early yesterday morning, so nothing to do with the opening price.
Looks like NEX is breaking out of its downward trend, it’s all good.
Latpulldown - yes I noticed the market maker restrictions this morning. Until about 9am. Incredibly hard to sell anything. I spent an hour refreshing sell orders on a few investments I wanted to clear. Very frustrating. What was that all about?
I was assuming they were clearing massive sell orders from the whales on various stocks - certainly the ones I was attempting to sell. Made me wonder what was going on in the markets.
Good advice. It's self inflicted torture to watch these daily moves!
The was a feeling of optimism after Shang Chi performed so well this weekend, so it's disappointing to see the dip, but
I think if Bond remains on schedule, things will feel more positive here in a week or so. It's the uncertainty that creates the volatility.
Hopefully this will stop any more scheduling delays, and prove the viability of exclusive theatrical windows in the current market.
Next up Bond… who’s massive PR machine is rolling inexorably forward, so hopefully there’s no looking back now.

Impressive, and the writer of this article seems confident about there being no option to delay Bond.
“No Time to Die is staying where it is on Oct. 8; there was never an option for the 007 pic to move again on the theatrical release calendar”
Can’t quite believe it myself, but I’ve never seen Top Gun!
I’m sure you are right about the reasons for the delay Ian. There’s no mention of any specific countries in the Maverick plot outlines online, but looking at the trailer, the combat sequences look suspiciously Middle Eastern, so after the shocking mess in Afghanistan, it would be just too insensitive & controversial to release so soon after.
Also Land Rover just launched their Defender V-8 Bond Edition inspired by 'No Time to Die' so it’s currently full steam ahead on promos.
