Cracking couple of days for Zak Mir's Lift Global Ventures. Yesterday the company announced outstanding half yearly figures, demonstrating the PR division is going like the clappers with profits up over 136%. And today, it announces a substantial investment of £12million into its Trans African pipeline project, underlining the true value of this project and ensuring a multiple upside (X10?)to its £750,000 investment last year. And yet LFT is valued at less than £700k. Expect a huge upLift. A move to AIM anyone?
The company seems to be propped up by the revenue from the PR business - lucky really otherwise would be curtains.
Good to see the posts here. yes, management have under promised, and delivered even less. the present directors are clueless. there ability is clearly recognised by the huge discount of the share price to asset value.
Look guys DKE started out like this now PG and Zak are doing radio silence temporary suspension they said 8 months later still nothing from them .Be careful, but be warned you know what could come next for you guys.I truly hope i am wrong, but we are being treated very poorly so far.The bottom line is the normal pi is not respected at all by this crew. Latest six month update, is very encouraging.Slow but steady progress is what we're getting, without even, the merest breath of hot air. We are so far under the radar, that it seems almost no one has heard of us. Good, for the moment, while we build the company. I think that Zak and co. will under promise, and over deliver. At least I hope so.
Imho.
Wish I did, don't know anything yet, hope it's for my own good!
Does anybody on this board have any views on DKE rto with this
A strange pivot from financial media / technology to Energy. I thought the former was ZM's area of expertise, so I am a little perturbed as to why energy? I am sure he has his reasons, but they remain unclear to me and with the change in board positions, it would seem to me that this is a complete change in direction and not sure this sits well with me.

Zak mir is no where to be seen heard he got run over by a bus word around he is in A *E
Completion of acquisition
https://www.share-talk.com/lift-global-ventures-plc-aqselft-completion-of-acquisition-of-miriad-limited/
First step, I wonder what's next on the acquisition list....
This Miriad purchase by lift, seems on the face of it to be a great deal. If all the financial details are correct, then it would be very cheaply acquired., and like Zak says it provides a great starting income for the company, underpinning as it would, day to day costs and more besides. Imho
I wonder when LIFT buys Roast PR Ltd if Messrs Hornsby/Carroll will strip assets (BEN shares) immediately after the conditional deal is confirmed?
These Canary Wharf ****-ups and ‘Hi-5’ lunches aren’t cheap
Who said Zak is buying Roast PR? That company isn’t even 12mths old and has only got 6 paying clients, plus 200k BEN shares, which they can’t sell until Oct this year. I hope to for Zak’s sake that if he does do that deal that he gets an independent valuation this time.
Just listened to the share talk link. Thanks for sharing. Not entirely swayed at this point. I understand the points raised by himself in the talk and share the same concerns as fellow investors that have posted here. I for one must admit I am somewhat disappointed that Zak hasn’t utilised his large retail following on Twitter. The lift page is bare with no updates and nothing has been shared to his traderscafe channel. If this isn’t a money grab then prove it by putting your name to it and enlist the interest of the retail market I say! I have 2mil shares worth of Voting rights that will be voting against if I don’t see something more proactive here.
Not really sure what the problem is with this deal - has to be agreed by shareholders, so lets see what the outcome is. Even if the next deal is Roast PR, again, the shareholders decide and again, the voting outcome settles it. If you don't like it, sell up (if you are invested) or vote against the proposal.

Yes I agree Golightly. If that is the case and Roast PR is next on the shopping list, who will be next on the list - Coco the share clown, Mickey Trader Mouse ? Tom Winnifrith is having a field day.

He's actually raised money to list a Company to Buy the company he owns outright?
Yes agreed, what an absolute farce. Is this opportunity really the best out there, or a convenient plan to line one's own pockets at others expense? Also, where is the independent valuation?. The whole thing stinks in my view. From whichever viewpoint you take, this has got to be one of the grubbiest deals ever.
lets hope shareholders reject this acquisition - its unbelievable- the advisers and the independent directors should hang their heads in shame.
To make headway, they need to buy a platform, one that has low debt and low running costs and very high engagement across social media. Then a main market reverse takeover to leave AQUIS.
Also tied in for the next year with another 4mil + shares purchased at 4p. Either way it bolsters the share price and proves confidence from the team.
1mil buy this morning as well.. overall it seems plans are in notion although when zak mentioned making acquisitions this summer in his interview I would like to think he didn’t just mean his own company, perhaps lift are finally ready to snap up some basement level bargains?
so things are starting tio hasppen now - although it is very questionable - buying the directors own company- what are the other directors thinking, and their advisers. hopefully this will be voted against, if it can be, and zak mir removed
New company and not much happening yet so volatile movements will be the case until they become more established and things start to happen.
Patience needed and ignore any price movements for the foreseeable.
Anyone else wondering what the hell the MMs are playing at with this share?
One tiny sell today and they cut the price in half!
Never seen any thing like it.
