Several million traded in large transactions over at APH, think we might see an increase in holdings soon?
Circa 15 - 17M. Could be another 1.5%. It goes exD on 23rd June for 1.7p.
TR1 tonight, could get lost in the weeds of the buy back RNS. Says Mangusta Limited up from 5.98 to 6.02. I suspect this is just due to the voting rights increasing due to the buy back.
So as promised
So far to date
Total shares brought : 1,547,556
Total spent : £233696.5585
%r money spent : 1.557977057

4th April RNS ... targeting a share price discount to net asset value ("NAV") per share of no more than 15% in normal market conditions.
The Company's net asset value per Share (the "Net Asset Value per Share") is currently 20.4 pence per Share.
So aiming to move sp above 17.3p.
Yeah that looks helpful Undercover. I dont understand why people are so keen to be out of this share. They have performed very well to date. I would also say that yes, the company has an incentive to purchase the shares slowly so as not to push the price up, but on the other hand they own significant investments in APH and FIF and are building a stake in TRI. If one of these investments has a catalyst it could then re-rate the shares here. Therefore LDG may lose out if they go too slowly. Perhaps they will step up a gear in a week or two?
Ps I’m super dyslexic so forgive me for spelling and grammar it’s a shame this board doesn’t allow us to edit
This isn’t going to be a quick buy shares and get the price up, reducing the shares in issue is going to be invaluable in the future and in 10 years times if the company get to where they want we could see some dividends and will be extremely thankful for the reduction as it means we get paid more. I’ve been keeping track of the buy back and will post the figures on a Friday if people feel it useful
I brought in when this was Eddie stobart and truthfactory was spouting his rubbish about how we were all going to loose our money .. I’m happy to say I didn’t and the profit here is looking healthy
I personally feel this is one to just forget about for a while, check in every now and then but don’t expect it to moon overnight
Details of buyback so far

Total spent 124907.837
%r money spent * 0.8327189133
% shares brought* 0.7327453743
(% shares brought* and %money spent refer to the figures the company were willing to spend and maximum number of share permitted to buy back max shares: 112,352,944 max spend:15000000)
19p? I thought it was more like 17p.
Look at the amount of shares that have been purchased each day , its very small.
Think it's around 1m altogether. The Company wants to purchase around 113m so not even scratched the surface .
The company is targeting an average cost of about 19p
However if people are willing to sell their shares very cheap then the company will take them.
Once these few sellers are out of the equation things will move up.
What holders selling at 15p does mean however , is the company can afford to pay 23p per share later and still get their 19p average.
I am not an expert in these matters but wasn't the share buy back supposed to in rease the share price so it sits closer to the NAV??
Not sure it is having the 'desired' effect.
17p and I am out.
Couldn’t have put it better myself ;-)
Ceiling is 17.3p. How close will we get to that?
Why?
“ the Company intends to implement a discount management policy, targeting a share price discount to net asset value ("NAV") per share of no more than 15% in normal market conditions.
The Company's net asset value per Share (the "Net Asset Value per Share") is currently 20.4 pence per Share”
I AM BUYING GOT TO REACH 19P AT SOME STAGE!
Notice that the maximum buyback approved is an unusually high percentage of the total company shares, at approx 20%.
Could have a considerable effect on the SP.
And so it begins. Interested to see how it pans out this time.
Not invested here at the moment as no cash to invest, but still watching......
Highly unlikely to reach 20p

20p and I will be very tempted to sell up :)
SHARE BUYBACK 2 START AGAIN!
...Alliance Pharma, not Alpha
Interesting to see the holding in Alpha Pharma via a Topco. Not sure where this is going and what value is adding to shareholders. Looks like too many vehicles for DBay to move loans around. Be happy to be proved wrong. won't see any returns for many moons.
Bergcarls as there are better shares to invest in...been waiting for this for 2 years, a lot of potential but too slow .
Wow, now an increase in Trifast. up to 5.69%
If its such a "crappy share" why did you only sell half?
crappy share...on its ass again!! sold half my holding when it hit 16 :)
