Over 1p now, to SELL and BUY
Blue.
Believe it or not, all those trades at 0.966 are NOT Buys, they are SELLS; all sells currently being absorbed.
KP2 has a history of leaks with big buys and - more often - big sells before official news was released.
However that was when mega-useless Brad Sampson was CEO. Since he was booted last year, its much more tightly run in my view. Having said that, with the additional listing and so many parties involved in discussions, the big buys are not a huge surprise.
News is clearly imminent, and judging from the buys and past history, the news will be positive.
Mill buy there.
BTW - Directors always have better information than we do (e.g. here they have seen the draft contract and the new NPV / financial plans etc.) this is clearly inside information, but its not considered to be a legal problem.
KP2 have told everyone the deal will be done by the end of June - Hathorn buying significant numbers of shares says he is confident that this will happen.
99, the Directors CANNOT (legally) trade on Inside Information; but, with Institutional investors/shareholders (Board participants) in 5 continents, it's very likely that some price-sensitive information may have leaked out!
100% in a week!
I have been in this since Oct 2020
GLA
IMHO - Directors are the ultimate insiders - they know what is happening and spending significant real money buying shares is a better signal than any rumour. Hathorn, converting his loan on 14 May signalled the current move.
FWIH - I am expecting the financing to happen faster than scheduled as the Chinese will take any off-take they can get from Kore. They are buyers of Potash anyway and will want to diversify away from Canpotex and the Belorusians.
In any case, these big 1mln+ trades are definitely Insiders buying (not speculators, who might be caught out); so, expect a good RNS soon. IMO
There is no RNS, that's the point; normally, when the SP doubles without news, the Co (any Co) should announce that the SP is moving (up or down) for XY reason (to prevent trading just on rumours); unless of course they issue the real thing ie an RNS justifying the mysterious rise (in KP's case, the EPC signing, for example).
Which RNS was that?
Is the SP not moving up cos of insiders buying and holding?
IMO, they'd have already issued an RNS explaining why the SP has doubled ON NO NEWS! Clear indication of insider trading.
Not ruling out a RNS tomorrow?
Something is brewing
Might be that the RNS, still expected, would be about the signing having taken place already in China? And that financing news are close? they always say "up to 6 weeks from EPC signing" but, since they must already seen the final EPC (and had plenty of time to review etc), the financing could also be a done deal?
I’m
Finally back
In front with one of my shares . Not much but a bit .
Does anybody here have any communication with the company?
If not, i am thinking of reaching out to see if i can open some dialogue between the company and us 'smaller' investors....just so we can ask any questions or get clarity on anything we may be unsure of....all following aim regulations of course.
If anyone has any questions fire them over to me shaun dot gurney at hotmail dot co dot uk
Seems that sellers are keeping low;
LTB - yes that would make sense. Around 3p once finance is agreed.
I would expect a further rise after that however once construction actually begins. Still a long way to go therefore for many shareholders, apart from those who have piled in over the last three years or so. They will see a very nice profit relatively soon I think.
Mitch,
It's not just the SP then (March 2018,) when the Co was floated (SP was 10p) but # of shares (860mln appx) too; the Mkt Cap was 86 million and the EPC was supposedly 1 year away (or so). Today, 5 years later, with EPC almost done, + extra Optimisation Study done, +further engineering design works by POWERCHINA, the Mkt cap is just 30mln.
The EPC is imminent, would going back to 86mln be unreasonable to expect i.e. 3-4x rise i.e SP at 2-3p?
It was at 9p as recently as 2018, so some long term shareholders still have a long way to go just to break even.
It reached the 1.50 mark back in summer 22 but slipped back when the market realised it had got ahead of itself. Maybe this time it will be different - there is always a first time !
About 2 years ago did Kp2 get to 1.80 ish or is that my imagination .? .
