No one wants to hear that here but that’s a major risk
Resolute plunged over 10% today because of this highlighted Mali risk
Looks like sites may start charging a small annual charge to get rid of trolls and bots.
Hope so, we will see.
It's not just EVs that need lithium; battery storage for wind and solar power is now taking off, and old EV batteries can be used as backup power storage for homes. I've just read that the battery from an electric Range Rover, after it's no longer useful for powering the car, can be used for homes and can store enough electricity to power an average home for a month.
I have been checking in but are there any anticipated dates or timeline updates due in the next few weeks that have been mentioned/projected to be in the next few weeks? I know we could get delivery and progress updates etc anything else due? I appreciate it’s an open question but hoping for some excitement….
Yet other articles mention kodal. Bell end.
Today or tomorrow
It's Hainans own website, of course it's focused on them, wouldn't expect anything else 🤦♂️
The article as listed below makes for very worrying reading with no mention at all of Kodal or our subsidiary companies, I understand the previous comment that just because there is talk of a takeover it not necessarily will happen but we as small investors will count for nothing if the major shareholders take the money and run. I had hope long term to see this hit 5p or better still 10 but the omens are not looking good Hope I'm vey much wrong
Clapa, trying to put it delicately, the short people nearest camera, Steve standing in a hole.
Announcing a takeover and shareholders accepting is another story. At this moment in time it would be a good time for Hainan to pounce and try a cheeky 1p bid but shareholders would be better holding out for production and an increased spod price. Not to mention the potential value of the gold portfolio as this is rather vague at the moment.
Hainan look firmly in control, taking the lead in the photographs.
No mention of Kodal in the article..... Can't be long before they announce a take over.

Should see some earth being shifted now as the plan is to start stockpiling before DMS is functional.
Nevermind, just a small blip, is expected.
Hainan Sp been on the rise for a while now, seen quite a drop today, anyone know why?
Up and down like the Assyrian empire
And there is the daily higher high (on my platform anyway)
new uptrend confirmed as forming imho
Looks like the little downtrend is turning to me
higher lows for 2 days not yet a higher high, expecting that this afternoon/tomorrow and I expect it to rise into end of week imho
so much for a crash🙄
BWTFDIK🤷🏻♂️
Unfortunately the Malian government are in cahoots with the Wagner group... will the government let the Wagner group jeopardise their operations and royalties... NO..... will the Chinese let the Wagner group jeopardise their operations and royalties... NO

Not the conspiracy theory many paint - that is actually a well balanced website for all things war related.
If Iran gets embroiled in a costly battle they are unlikely to support these groups as before and the region may stabilise.
Regarding Barrick, they made the foolish and misguided mistake of saying that auditors were not doing their job properly allegedly in press reports
The previous mining code when introduced clearly laid out its aims and objectives in such a simple way that a child at school could understand what they were doing and why. Some mining companies found ways (some would say legitimate others would say pushing their luck) to get round these changes.
When called out by auditors and a government mining office for using these techniques smart az comments are not recommended assuming that the quotes are correct.
I wonder if Barrick used the same consultants as Leo Lithium.
This is no different to the UK, except in the UK you could not negotiate your way out of the full fine or removal of licence, in a regime they have a chance.
We are taking all your Chinese Lithium interests in Mali but please be our friend still on the international stage and back us up.
Makes sense
Maybe even more reason for a Chinese buyout at some stage to get the rid of their British JV partners
Well that was a quick response time, thank you.
Lav after all this I hope you consider working in the mine development sector you certainly put in the hours to understand the processes involved. Thank you for the info.
Research tree links not allowed it appears, try this one

all clarified in this video, mobilised fleet, initially construction, then after that surface clearing and top soil (top soil in mining will also be sub soil - removed separately and stored separately) then stripping is the next process.

A small detail but hopefully of interest to some on the BB.
Just did my weekly X-ray of the portfolio with KOD shares and noticed that they have changed how they classify KOD from Small-Growth to Small-Blend. Blend simply means a mix of growth and value.
The thought of KOD becoming a value stock in the future makes me smile.
MikB, gets me regularly too lol.
