@Dallasdaz - "Just wondering if anyone has asked for an extension or is it back to...."the court 'might' rule".
I think it is still court might rule. If they had granted an extension as a decision then it would have been up already I would think. Maybe it is informal from courts extending by delaying the ruling because they see progress and feel as if it is concluding and by not putting the extension in writing, allowing the possibility of them "might" rule.
My opinions of course.
@Obs - Thank you for the answer. I was thinking along the same line. Fingers crossed for some good news sooner.
@Obs...Re your post @09:36...
Did you listen to the podcast from 13:08, he did reference yesterdays RNS. So it is more than likely the interview took place after the RNS....or was edited to include it.
Could the podcasts ref to rns be the previous rns because the podcast was delayed .
Don't think so @Barksy.
Also KM doesn't seem to be aware of any extension...just that
"As announced the court was due to make a decision by the end of June, they haven't as yet, and I 'think' the court is allowing some leeway in terms of commercial discussions between the parties to reach a settlement."
He 'thinks' the court is allowing some leeway....
@Dallas. As @Barksy suggests I agree that it's possible @Kiran is referring to the announcement a few months back. In fact I wonder if he was simply trying to explain away why the market wasn't notified to the delays as he "thinks" he knows the reason. But then the Nomad/BoD/whoever decided to cover their backs by deciding that we better officially announce this in an RNS before releasing the interview.
What's your reason for not thinking this is a likely course of events?
Lol the nomad broker is Andew Suckling !
@LoL @Barksy, I need some punctuation in that sentence for it to parse.
@Obs...It's one sentence and we didn't know a few months back that the court wouldn't have made a ruling.
He references the past in the RNS, but speaks in the present for the interview.
From the RNS...
Further to the announcement made on the 16 June 2020, at this point, the commercial court of São Paulo has not made a ruling concerning DEV Mineração S.A's ("DEV") petition to annul the secured creditors' liens and charges over the Amapá Iron Ore Project ("Amapá Project"). The parties are in active discussions concerning a settlement, and we look forward to updating the market in due course.
From the interview...
As announced the court was due to make a decision by the end of June, they haven't as yet, and I 'think' the court is allowing some leeway in terms of commercial discussions between the parties to reach a settlement.
I'll email him now lol.
The last rns has been pulled from here ...
they allowed 14 days or am l a liar ,
the s/p will rise quite well towards the back end of next week if not before with an agreements that depends on the BODS skill?
@Barksy, the RNS hasn't been pulled. As I've mentioned previously, until LSE can handle it we need to stop spelling Amapá as Amapa in the title of our news announcements. Alternatively you can replace the á with a yourself:
https://www.lse.co.uk/rns/KDNC/amapa-project-update-d13lcu28ltuj1kh.html
Let us know what he says @Dallas! I still think it's likely he was referring to the RNS on 16 June 2020. I made a mistake earlier when I said a few months back, I meant weeks, I think I had the 14th Apr 2020 RNS in mind at the time.
If you press the rns button above this and press the last rns it says page not found. Is that just because they can’t spell Amapá
It's because LSE don't appear to be able to handle the acute accent on the a, and possibly accents in general? It's worth passing on to @Kiran as it would be most disappointing if our reach was reduced because of this on great news...
Sorry if this confused. "As I've mentioned previously, until LSE can handle it we need to stop spelling Amapá as Amapa in the title of our news announcements." I meant "start spelling"!
I’m going for a lie down in a dark room
Like me to join you?
Quickly point out that's to Mrs B lol
Have you been at the gin as well!
Think of me as a tonic
Since there was some movement earlier today I thought I'd update it so as to be able to compare against the April movement leading up to a decision:
April timeline:
===[

4/3/2020 Joined Petition
4/2/2020 Request for Summons of the Joint Liquidator
4/1/2020 Conclusions for Decision
