Maintenance dredging of Pier I - Period June 23 to 28, 2021
Dredging after Berge has pushed the schedule back a few days.
reserved for dev… but they don’t want to disclose it more like… ;) what’s it say on the members only schedule… where’ve they moved dev to now?…
So given they have not acknowledged marlin V was the 4th shipment that means no shipment in June.
Didn’t they say they were going to try to increase the shipments to 1.5 per month not 0 a month?
Time for some more tweets about the iron ore prices and time to role out Alan Green again because for the next two weeks during June all that’s going to happen is a drift in SP as people begin to think this is dead in the water and sell up, probably even the rampers.
Up 200% in the last year.

I have only held since August, its been a fantastic investment.

@obs, wonder if there's a bit of a saving for shipping costs happening for U (& hopefully Dev) by taking coal over from SA and returning with Ore. The dest for the U-boat has a coal fired power station.
According to the "ABNT RULES" (Brazilian Association of Technical Standards) which clarifies which products are considered steel including Mineral Coal.
Brazil is South Africa’s largest trading partner in Latin America. Both countries belong to BRICS – an association of five major emerging national economies made up of Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa.
South Africa’s top five exports to Brazil include anthracite (coal), precious metals, plastics, aluminium and car engines.
I thought U-boats delivered Nazis to South America not coal.
JONAS OLDENDORFF ??
is she carrying wind turbines… :)
@EV Savings through synergy is always good! However, I thought the drafts were showing they arrived empty? @MLQ? @tomcat? The turnaround times certainly implied it! And photos too. Might be worth investigating if this was done previously from the private port? Though I don't remember reading any evidence of this. And perhaps in practice it slows down the operation too much having to unload as well as load? Though I'm sure if they designed this in from the start they could cater for it in an efficient manner, including the transport to other parts of Brazil by rail.
@obs yes, previously they were west Africa and empty but have a look at unamgens one, it’s heading to another port in Brazil from South Africa, that port has a coal power station. And the port in South Africa has a coal terminal so I’m presuming they’re making a bit of a saving there. Looks to me it’s dropping off some coal at another port in Brazil then coming to Santana so it will arrive empty, so presumably some costs saved.
serveporto show import/export on their notsouptodate schedules… last drop off was wheat at pier2…
