Same plays as me.
Biggest conflict plays for me are Polymetal, JRS, Evraz then POG. I have a small amount of ADRs too but they were frozen a month back.
Oh hi CWWX, Poly is my main holding but got 5000 of these at about 1.29 Ditto holding hoping Russ economy will pick back up in a year or two and return much multiples and dividends.
Very quiet in here. Bought a small holding here at 111. Didn’t do too much research on it to be fair. Although risks are understood. Already in POG, Poly & EVR so thought why not here as well. LOL………
Planning on just holding for as long as possible and see where the SP goes to. Totally purchased this on The deflated SP.
Haha fair enough. I've not much to add either. I've done some research here and it's a good investment at less than £2. In my opinion anyway. Just thought there may have been a few regulars with posts etc. Mind you sometimes regulars are plonkers.
I occasionally pop in to see if anything happening, but as I'm a novice don't have anything to add.
Well it's only a £42m market cap. Never much discussion on funds this small.
I'm new here. Is it always this quiet on the chat?
Are we expecting any news or just waiting for the war to blow over.
My buy last week showed as a sell, so all maybe not as it seems.
many buys today. Seems to be sell, sell. sell
Could JPM theoretically substantially increase the fees of the trust?

@Gopnik
Same.
I had Sberbank, Gazprom et al all on my shopping list as the ones that got away through sanctions and suspension. I'd like to keep exposure to them. So what BB is saying is that they have not (yet) been sold just down valued further?
JRS needs to keep it's USP!
Simply wall st value jrs at £19 fair value !!!!!!??????!?!?!?!??! Surely not right. However. I hope it is.
I'm new here , I'm trying to build a really good dividend portfolio. Does anyone have a link to a dividend website or something that can tell me past history for stocks please. I can only see this last year's . However if it got to £19 I may sell haha. Have a nice day all.
They are not measuring Rosneft any differently from Gazprom. It is valued at 0.3% of total, and Gazprom at 1.1% of total. They have both been valued at about 5% of the Moex price. This price is at a discount of about 95% to the actual Moex price.
@Ninjadude
If that's true then why are they measuring Rosneft allocation fairly?
If they sell Gazprom to buy Kazatomprom I'm out. The only reason I bought this was to get exposure to the sanctioned companies. I can buy Kazakh companies without buying a managed trust.
Correct, a lot of people are struggling with this valuation concept. Basically 400p worth of equity is being priced at 47p by JRS right now.
Ninjadude
Thanks. So JRS still has the 15 million Gazprom shares? If so then these are currently priced at about 200 roubles on the Moex or about £2. So the Gazprom holding alone for JRS is worth over £30 million or about 80p per share. And if Gazprom is about 20% of the total JRS holdings then the Moex NAV of JRS holdings must be about £4 now? Is this correct?
only 35?
It’s still there but they are applying a low percentage of its value to NAV, as the largest holding, even as a small percentage it still shows up in the top 10
Can anyone explain this latest RNS for the ten largest holdings? Gazprom is now only about 1% of the total holding and it was about 20% on 28th February. JRS had over 15 million Gazprom shares in February, so have these 15 million Gazprom shares all been sold? I thought selling by foreigners was not allowed at present?
phasing out of reliance on Russian oil and gas is a European/USA issue...perhaps, less Eurocentric view would be wiser; I note India isn't holding back nor China.
Jarv's post got me to look at another RNS; change of investments. Big news! Energy holdings shrunk, whole new portfolio arrangement here.
Looks like managers running scared from touted phasing out of reliance on Russian oil and gas.
Happy to see Kazatomprom get a much bigger vote. Not sure about it as a whole.
What are your thoughts?
