With the pension regulator looking at the pre pack and the pension shortfall it makes it even more unlikely CAH would be able to do anything other than make noise.. My investment is lost but I hope the ppf use their clout make the board responsible for their disgraceful actions.
know how you feel Easyinvestor not been a great year for me either, even my main block in Bdev is behaving like an AIM share at he minute thanks to Brexit. I see the class action as a way of having a go at stopping these things happening again. Poison pills, lying about the make up of that poison pill, offers being made not made known to shareholders, directors telling people notbto sell whilst feathering his own nest, tossing the pension plan away in the hope the PPF will pick it up, all wrong time some stood up to it. Not sure if the action will cost we shall see, but if we do nothing then people like these will continue doing this.
to join action group BUT not sure if much point seen this before never goes well ..........I've sold out during year most of my stocks in other companies only had JPR and HNL now that JPR has well lets be polite and say gone just left with HNL with is delisted at moment and has been for 12 months and suspended before that .....not holding out must hope now for that.........so that's me finished with shares had a bad run this year carilion and JPR jst had a enough of getting screwed over with no help from governing bodies who just let them get away with it
if we want legal action to come we need to support the Viking, hopefully Bernstein is fuming too. If thesectwo come together then I think they will have a go at legal action, especially if yhe see support from small shareholders. Email and join Custos action group it either goes somewhere or doesnt, the more support the better.
Thats a fantastic idea
Wouldnt worry about it the Ctag board is still going aftervtwo years from delisting
If and when this board gets removed, perhaps people could continue to discuss JPR on the Reach plc board ?
JPR been bascially surviving to pay off banks since 2010, you'll just have to forget your lost now and move on.There's an old saying "you gotta get bad luck before you get good luck" so, chin up.
Dear shareholders, What occurred late Friday evening was a completely utter disgrace. Total incompetence on behalf of the board, who chose the 'easier option' to protect themselves in their precious bubble with a high undeserved salary. It was clear that there was a high level of ignorance from the board at the initiation of the strategic review. I genuinely believe the board didn't do enough to evolve the ever changing business. They didn't even offer to cut their own salaries in troubled times. Part of the deal with bondholders was that you give the company to us on the cheap and you can keep your director jobs. Very carefully orchestrated hence why both custos and crystal amber failed to get a seat on the board or oust the current one. The board show absolutely no respect to their shareholders. I for one will be joining the action group. I don't believe they are fit enough to to be directors of any company let alone Johnston press. Tomorrow will be another day and life will carry on.. Lessons must be learnt and I believe both previous and current directors must be accounted for. I am very passionate about this and I will also be joining the legal battle. But in the meantime I wish all the jpr holders well and you guys stay strong. Remember the reason why we fall is because we can learn on how to pick ourselves up again.Tomorrow will be a sad day because officially jpr will be delisted... I am not sure how long this board will last for on the lse. All I can say is take care and good luck!!
Which to be fair wasn't entirely the shareholders fault. At least the staff now get paid whilst they seek alternative employment. If they've any sense at least.
You did indeed 1onic. We're you thanked for your advice? No. And now the shareholders - who employ the board, who could have removed all or any of the board, annually, want to charge the board with being asleep at the wheel? Shareholders asleep, blindfolded and ****ed at the wheel more like.
I posted on here months ago it would be debt for equity and shareholders would be wiped out. If I'd worked it out the rsp mms will have had a short book if they could have, otherwise neutral.
Tindle... I think you owned 6% of the worthless shares...I hope this is a factor in your contract renewals for your titles they print.
Just done mine worth a go, like someone previously posted a shareholder group was formed against Yell which is ongoing.
The directors should be hanging their heads in shame. Its corporate fraud at the highest level. I too will chase this, because the directors have mislead investors from the beginning. I don't know how they sleep at night with the salaries they have earned over the years.
Yes, I have joined to that. I don't know how it is going to help us, but I need to hope in something.
has or is starting a class action group to join email classaction@custosgroup.com.
If you wish to that is.
This is a sham on behalf of jpr's board. Pure and simple.. simply to keep their jobs.
I agree it has been done in a shocking way. But your money was lost a long time ago. There was no equity value (ie shareholder value) here whatever happened. No one would lend jpr the 300million they needed. Issuing new shares to the value of 300million would have been both impossible and diluted existing holders down to fractions of pennies. Either way, shareholders here were on a hiding to nothing.
Fontwrs all well and good. However this had till June 19 to be sorted out. The Viking had plans just wanted open and honest dialogue. This BoD set up a company three weeks ago knowing what they were going to do, King told Shareholders not to sell, they announced all this Friday evening when no-one could do anything, no RNS till after the event. Lots of grounds there for for the BoD to be taken to court for for lack of Fudiciary duty and I hope the Biking does and wins, and I really hope some do jail time. Vindictive yes, revenge yes, wiil I get any money back dont know, if criminality is proven then just maybe.
Look at it this way. Had this gone bust the old fashioned way, the shareholders would still have received nothing. This way at least the business - and jobs - carry on.
Really just tried to trade and it said suspended, my kill or fill was cancelled. Just been on the BBC again about the saving of jobs at JPR all good agreed, but no mention of the cost to the shareholders and the pension fund, a case of hide the bad news.
Not being traded. Suspended for today, with shares being cancelled tomorrow, according to the RNS.
Still being traded. Just rung through and confirmed
So now? Is it done? Is it over?
Nothing happens
