Massive buy after the bell and a 1 share trade.
Not long now .
I've just noticed that. Interesting. I took a small position today, having been watching for a while as the company does, to me, look very undervalued. But, obviously, we all need to do our own research.
I will watch how this goes with much interest.
GLA
Been going on for weeks under the radar
Market Cap £48 million, net debt £43 million (source: Stokopedia).
Interest on debt is not well covered.
High risk, high reward.
Buy out most likely IMO.
I am surprised that the lenders haven't pushed them to do a fund raise to reduce debt and put more of the risk onto shareholders.....given that there are only 112m shares ...maybe that is what the market is asking
Marks and Spencer would be a good buyer IMO .....and many M&S customers are home owner gardeners !!
Next would be sniffing around, already sell joules stock and Leicestershire based.
yes..Next or M&S could easily find cost saving synergies within their buying teams...certainly interesting to see how things develop..... fitting under the umbrella of one of the bigger players during stormy weather is food for thought ...
to be fair though any talk of a sale would only really come from the lenders ...who would either get itchy for their money back or push for an equity raise to reduce risk...... or...I suppose if they are happy at the moment do nothing ....depends on how they see things
i would have thought a company like fat face would be closer suited to allow for expansion but would need larger floor space to merge the two. Fat face are also in airports. Fairly similar type of fashion.
I’d say very different demographic
Anyone any opinion on why we haven’t had a change of holdings rns?
Probably because there hasn't been one I'm afraid.
Not sure how the requirement hasn’t been met when £2m+ has gone through over the last few weeks in a handful of trades.
TR-1 down to the investor to send ..not for the company to ask for....and depends on what % holding they break through..
BIDS just had a TR-1 that was 10 months late !!

Naughty. Sure something is going on here.
Seem to be using uncrossing trades at the end or start of the day to put the s.p where they want it.
Another ut to mark the price at the end of the day.
37p - they gonna do a placing at 30p? .....
Any thoughts on the outlook?
online selling improved, summer here for garden and home items. Navigating through the headwinds. 11mil headroom. 22 mil debt. turned a profit in 2021. intrested to know what others views are given the 37p SP
22m debt
112m shares
Do the lenders request they reduce debt and do a fund raise , given the risks on the economy and revenues??
