I would like to see one Happydays to check out what the gross margins are running at particularly for Chrome in the 3rd quarter.
Dbh it is a discussion board if you don't want to read it or join in then don't your choice.
When they released the operation update I don't remember seeing a statement regarding financials? Or am I mistaken?
Chaps, remember the payment was to secure capacity, not start building. The manufacturer would very likely, otherwise take on other work, when we are ready to push the button. I believe each module is designed to suit the feed going through it. The initial stage was the test and design stage.
The possibilities for jlp are actually endless and the time scale for things to happen based on current progress is probably much faster than one would see from an expanding company outside of the tech sector (which we could arguably be said to be in). It therefore makes little sense to speculate as to what the sp might be next year or in 5 years time and it certainly isn't worth arguing over. All I know/feel is that it is going to be a hell of a lot higher than it is at present barring a takeover from one of the majors. Oh, and please don't anyone mention the number of shares in circulation. It's completely immaterial.
Talking about quarterlys, are we going to get one with the financials this month?
Happydays you are absolutely right. I am around 15k down so not in the same ballpark as you but I expect to get my money back if Roan is successful. Even the Chrome improvements should see an uplift in sp next financial year. This is aim casino so who really knows.
Now where did I put my agenda?
My internet went down whilst replying . Yes I can hear some of you cheering:)
The problem is that the so called investors on here want to be micro managed. Let the company get on with their job rather than a sit rep everyday. Running companies is a full time job so let them report when there is something of significance. Personally a quarterly update works for me
When you have a quarter million pounds invested in JLP and you down 40 percent and waiting around 12 + years. I question everything as I think everyone here should.
You are a feisty bunch on here.
The IRH deal is in the stage of identifying locations it is in the last RNS.
My opinion for what it is worth is they should have identified locations by now but there maybe a clause in the IRH contract that needs to see sustainable or nameplate capacity at Roan before this kicks off. Pure speculation on my part though.
Also it is probably a 2 year project from the end of Roan ramp up. 2x50k/month processing modules per year.
At the end of that 2 yrs they should be producing around 20k contained copper but whilst it is at no cost to JLP and they get reimbursed for previous costs they only receive 30% of the gross margin after costs so the profit isn't that great but it is basically a free carry. Happy to be corrected. No abuse the men in the white coats are on standby.
Gotreal claiming 120p is a massive leap of faith from 7p without trying to justify it isn't right.
I did do an extrapolation on the small miners yesterday before the men in white coats came and carried me away but we are a long long long way from any of that and it may never happen and I did say don't take it too seriously.
It's blatantly obvious the only plant been manufactured is the second modular for thutse as said by Leon in his latest interview.
From what I remember the bulk of the urgent placing was to secure capacity. If you don't remember go back and listen to Leon.
To think otherwise is plain ignorance.
So is our manufacturer sitting idle while we wait for IRH?
Have we secured the capacity so we can actually start building these modules? Will it be this year?
I now just report got reals abusive posts rather than respond. I encourage others to do the same in the hope the profile may eventually be banned. The discussion here over recent days has been quite good, a bit too optimistic for me but good nevertheless. I have some skin back in. the game, but remain very cautious. I think the question of the 10m million raised and what is happening with it is a good one. Hopefully we get an update on this soon.
HD,
I am not sure Neal needs to give a running commentary on what has been paid to what suppliers. My point was that there is no evidence in the public domain to suggest the project is not going to plan - unless you can provide some which is what I am interested to understand.
Frog - the OB1 project was originally talked about as 12m from agreement which would make it Dec-24 production.
So my opinion/conclusion is all is going according to plan unless there is evidence in the public domain to the contrary.

Frog, but in responding in kind you also look like a rude person to those outside the dispute. You are allowing GR to decide your approach if he is the poster drawing out this response- in the last few post youve used abusive and insulting language yourself.
Northern, my point is that Leon made a big deal about securing capacity to build the 4 modules immediately. That was back in December/January. Go back and listen to interview after the placing. He was adamant is placing was need for this reason.
So my question is has he paid the 5 million deposit to secure capacity... or is the 5 million (don't quote me) in a savings account?
@nelson, if gotreal was not so rude then the board would be calmer. I cannot abide rude people.
Hi Northern, were any timescales ever mentioned? News they are nearing completion would be excellent.
My summary of the last few hours - Investor shares his workings and extrapolated forecast relating to the financial hydraulics of this company and its share price. Then with polite language the most astonishing and blatant condecension to this sharing, attacking (via sharing their view of them quite literally as children!) the person and the attitude rather than the maths and the extrapolation. Then they are asked to respond to the maths and Kalan says this request to respond to the maths is bullying!
Come on. BB we share views, research, its up to the reader to put their risk / negativity / realism filters upon what they read - they can even share it for good BB contributions.
Play the ball and not the man.
HD43,
If you listen to the recent podcasts and comments from Leon the IRH OB1 project is moving at pace.
Just because there hasn't been a specific announcement on this doesn't imply it has been delayed or there are issues as you imply unless you have any information in the public domain which states differently? If there is I would be interested if you could share them.

Yes I agree. What could get the share price motoring in the short term is an announcement from tweedle dum and co that the "electrical components " have arrived on site.
Although I highly doubt those two have the balls to ask the hard questions.
It's a valid point HD, an interesting question and may explain why we haven't had the final rubber stamp from IRH. But I'm focused on Roan right now. 30 days to go, will we get a nice early surprise?
I asked YOU a question. Based upon the predicted price for copper and the stated growth path of JLP do you dispute that 120p is attainable if those forecasts are correct? I will refrain from responding to your continuing insults, pathetic though they are.
Why stop at 120p, why not 240p, 360p? I think you are being very negative.
Why are all your responses so confrontation gotreal. Answer me this, what is the timescale for your 120p, little man.
Thank you Frog, if you believe, you believe! Personally i feel 15-20p is too early, but look what happened previously. However this time i feel circumstances and time are on our side. Bar world war.
Yes Frog, there was a MAD rush in December to secure the capacity of the modular manufacturer hence the main reason for the placing. So 5 months later and I would of thought 2 of the modules have atleast started manufacturing???
Otherwise we have paid our supplier to do nothing?
I see goalposts been moved again!!
