PVCS look just about ready for a decent upward twitch from my view. Comments really needed please.
I have just seen on the regular thread some poor soul just bought at this level. Goodness, I thought it had already risen too much at about 12p when I looked. It is suicide at this level. It's scary how some newbies really hang on the every word of others. I know I made some mistakes when I started but I was always wary of people and their motives. Well done again on this guys. I'm trying to stay clear of things I am not familiar with until my baby starts to settle a bit more. Been spreading myself too thinly so just trying to keep it to what I'm already in, I'm sure that won't last long.
Is this share price inversely corelated to the solar sector? Bizarre!!!!
ok, I am going to look like an idiot if that post is left hanging. May as well do it in style with this post.
could someone please tell me why this stock seems to bear no relation with how well alternative energy sector is doing? why so stagnant for so long?
There could well be some softening in the share price once interims absorbed in the market, but then an increase in share price in the run up to finals, both a scaling up of investment funds and a keen eye on costs have been reflected in turnover increasing 53% to £4.0mns and profits increasing 148% to £1.6Mns. Commodities and Energy prices holding up well and will have a broad positive effect on IPX but not on the economy as a whole. Share price should remain bouyant medium long term after some short term weakness. My opinions only.
This investment manager has reported Strong growth with assests under management increasing to £1.1 Bns and currently stands around £1.3Bns. Net cash flow positive despite market downturn. Progress being made with partnerships. Further positive legislation is affecting the sector for alternative energy generation, so the Co puts a positive slant on future progress.
With BNP PAM Group taking control of 29.4% of the 109.6mns Issued Share Capital ("isc") looks like the days of independence could be over. Anything 30% and over will cause a mandatory offer having to be made for the remaining outstanding shares. Holding 32.22Mns looks like BNP PAM has a lucrative strategic and substantial holding launchpad here from which a full offer could be made.
get in this stock now before it shoots up, there is news out next week apparently
Mr Keith Falconer bought 100K shares at 29p/share lifting his personal holding to 9.65Mns shares or 8.81% of the isc. One to follow for possible Corporate news heading our way.
Keith Falconer buys up a further 3 million isc raising his stake to 8.72% representing 9.54 million shares. Running up from previous Jan 06 position, sold half my stockholding last session and running the remainder. This and previous holdings augers well for the future.
LONDON (AFX) - Impax Group PLC said Bluehone Investors LLP has sold 580,000 ordinary shares in the company and now holds 4,485,979 ordinary shares, representing 9.82 pct.
IPX. There have been three share holdings announcements in the same number of days. This news ties in with previous footprints regarding holdings. This has got to be one to follow on that basis.
IPX. Yesterday was positive and the morning today has just shown a rise, any thoughts?
Thanx GedW Amazed u find time to be of assistance in so many places
IPX. Hi debbie. This latest notification ties in with my footprints of 25th Aug and 5th Sept. There will be more Company news heading this way. The two large buys relative to ISC have not been followed up. Perhaps cashing in on yesterday's weekness. With only a moderate number of shares in issue I am inclined to Buy in on weakness and sell some but not all on strengh locking in some profits.
GedW How are you are you still here with me?Iam afirm believer in this stock,my only worry was if Id paid too much+ if I should sell re-enter,have abandoned that thought now.Have noticed it is of no value following buy\sells on this site as most happens with big boys behind the scenes:see today 1 insignificant buy and over6% rise!Following the rns on this one saw Director/pdmr dealing 11.42 yesterday was perturbed and confused if it was normal or negative couldnt quiet get my head round it?Anyway main thing is it provided a dip for apparently 2 larger buyers this morning and hopefully new wave of buyers.Would be grateful for any thoughts on yesterdays rns but no stress hope your having a good day!
IPX. debbie, you minx. I will do as you say. Do not chase the share price, if you are in hold. Buy on weakness if your instinct tell you. Follow the larger orders, they will indicate sentiment.
THANKS GedW What I thought there are buyers for this maybe waiting for dip.It some fresh press coverage today. Also noted how well ceres power is doing.Enjoy juggling your balls today!
IPX. Hi debbie, yes did have an exciting day, more to come today. I noticed this moved today. Expect some volatility as the news gets passed around. You will find that once any profit takers have cleared a fresh wave of buyers may come in. Good news is on the horizon. You et al have looked after the "shop" well yesterday. Got so many balls in the air at the moment. Good business today.
hi GEdW Hope you had a good day and came back to find everythinnnnnnnnnnng in order!Little nervous here, full confidence long term(3.4.mths)but wondering if it might go down much more before it goes up!In which case I would know what to do.I kow you dont have a crystal ball but I think you sense these things.
IPXregarding broker -broker sale, could it be that one has a large order to fill?
IPX. You too debbie. all the best with your dealings tomorrow. You are a great student in the art of "investing" in hot stocks !!!
IPX Thanx for tip hope youve had a good day GedW
IPX It took me a while to get my head round this one I read up last years rns at thisismoney.co.uk where you have everything in order or you can type in stock code.(2 wks ago I didnt know what an rns was)made my own mind up sorry dont feel competent to advise or share opinion here .Good luck
