INFA has been exploited and manipulated for over a year. The latest phase started three months ago and the Sp has fallen over 50% as a consequence. Without the manipulation the Sp would,(and should), now be above 3p. There has been a bit of delay but more good news than negative news and nothing,in reality, to justify the fall.
I begin to wonder whether the suddendeparture of the chairman and the notice of contract end given to the joint broker may not be links in the chain. Both almost unexplained events.
In any case the modus operandum has been to share information via private Twitter accounts between investors who had/have holdings which could be sold and the proceeds invested elsewhere until the nod may be given that it is time to reinvest here. Oddly I think the hour may be at hand!
A few long term substantial INFA holders such as Dawski and myself were never part of the favoured cartel so we're still here and holdling at least what we held at the end of last year. How foolish we were!
It Could it was going to operate at full capacity withdrawing and injecting all the time, but it wont.
It will do a full summer winter cycle but opportunities for shorter term flex are limited.
All MRS this year 103 days:
Net withdrawal, 78 days and 1687 mcm or 21 mcm/d
Net injection, 25 days and 377 mcm or just 15 mcm/d
There is not the opportunity to full cycle the 20MCM on a regular basis.
bensherb....surely it will be turning over may tiits total capacity of 450MCM per 183 days if it can withdraw 20MCM per day?
If you inject in summer at 50p and sell in winter at 60p
450MCM or 176,578,372 therms the revenue is 17.5 million.
wholesale of this gas is £88 million to buy and sell at £106 million there are 183 days in a season so I don't know wher you get 3.5 from.
Good positive posts ,Chris and Bruce ...JW will want all the pieces of this jigsaw in place before the RNS including satisfaction on all conditionality of this necessary project. When the RNS finally comes it will be worthy of publicity, raising our profile immeasurably !
You would certainly think so Chris. I guess anyone that's familiar with the company are all ready fully loaded and have been for quite some time.
I suspect John wants to hold back for the big RNS and that's why the lot 1, 1.1 and 2 land parcels have not seen an RNS. There's only one piece of news that the market want's.
It does appear that we are finally, finally, finally there. Just a matter of hours or days now IMHO.
Based on the recent update & with expectations soon (hopefully this week) this must surely be the time to Buy.
Boring !!!
Sorry...Error in calcs.....should read....
'This means that on those days it is 50p - 60p Island Magee could be turning over between £3.25M - £3.75M worth of gas PER DAY!'
Even so.....we are talking vast amounts of dosh!
Here is a nice thought (especially for Dawski) ….….
Posted oo Advn 15 Aug 2018 by SpudthePlumber….. ‘The beauty with Medium Range Storage (MRS) is the rate of withdrawal and injection. Islandmagee will be able to withdraw over 20 million cubic metres of gas per day’.
The RNS a few days ago stated gas price per therm could reach 50p - 60p over next decade. Assuming Spud was in the right ballpark, consider the following…..
Approx. 2.64 cubic metres of gas 1 therm, so 20M metres of gas per day = 7.5M therms.
Assuming price per therm reaching 50p - 60p over next decade
This means that on those days it is 50p - 60p Island Magee could be turning over between £10m - £12M worth of gas PER DAY!
Bodes well for a fantastic equity/offtake deal........works for me ! ………GLA ?
Of course Mitch if the share price did slip back to 0.69 then you would lose money on your alleged share price purchase of 0.792 x the amount of shares allegedly bought (1) or (3) or (7). See what I mean...Go away...your boring. Good bye and filtered.
Whoops forgot to include the link: https://www.bloomberg.com/amp/news/articles/2019-04-12/u-k-s-bacton-gas-pipeline-link-to-europe-needs-sand-pump-rescue?__twitter_impression=true
......to build soon and restore the UKs insufficient energy security. I wonder what BEIS would say now?
Why the huge spread?
Mitch,
I take you will be the one with the sheepskin on!!!! don't fall over!! or will you be wearing your famous Batman outfit, go on Rodney you know it makes sense!
Mr T
Mitch,
Thanks for the clarification, I think as you say much too much detail in your post for the majority to be able to understand!!!!
I will leave aside your other comment, "Infa won't deliver anything ealier than ist week of July" as this seems to infer there will be no further updates from now to then? amazing that? considering all of the potential newsflow that may or may not be released during that timescale you flag up!!! you couldn't make it up, but oh wait a minute, you just did!!!
Keep watching that one share in your portfolio, you know the one you kept to be able to keep tabs on Infa!!!
Mr T
Agreed and look forward to the meeting on May 8th
Lock,
A very astute piece of analysis work on your part and completely accurate.
I fully agree now is not the time to be out.
Mr T
Completely disagree.
It's a shootout between 2 equity partners and 3 offtake partners now. INFA will know who they want and an offtake agreement could be struck at any time. This enables the equity partner to come on board which in turn should go some/all of the way to finalizing the debt requirements depending on how negotiations go. This would also speed up FID i.e. before end H1. On top of that news on EPC + OE contracts can be expected prior to FID.
All things considered, now is the time to be in not out.
Great RNS and we are now down. Shower of S@it. I suppose until the deals are ‘done’ we won’t see a lot of movement. Frustrating to say the least, sp is crazy cheap. topping up every week at this level. SL

A wonderful bit of analysis there, in fact we have known that FID is in fact due to be finalised at the end of H1 for many months so you are really just stating the obvious and throwing in your opinion that the so will remain static until that point! Brilliant. Have you thought about asking to join the brexit negotiations? Your invaluable nous could be the key that is missing !!!!
I suggest you fill your boots with infa shares between now and the end of H1 as you believe that the sp will take off at some point towards that date, you can't go wrong, its a no brainer according to your calculations. Good luck.
Mr T
London and Leeds Expectations set for significant news by then RNS out.
Agree entirely Mr T. Good RNS for LTH IMO but perhaps not if wanting to cash in now. I topped up and will await the bigger news. Will worry if I’m same position in July
Do you not understand the Model? Placing may be inferring to syrvuve But debt for equity will be successful
