How do you know they are worth double?
Last century is awash with companies/people who have bought shipyards and lost a fortune.
They need to get the draft GSA out asap as well for the September list and we should see some SP lift
Grand plans these boys have. Just a pity that the shares keep multiplying as well. No other way I suppose. 'Debt and equity funding' always takes the edge of good news sadly.
I agree. The assets purchased are worth nearly double what we paid and it will speed construction by 5 months, whilst reducing capex by 15%. Plus the priceless PR that we will now get for saving an NI heritage institution
Definately got the governments ear. Infrastructure being lined up, this is a fantastic opportunity, just need patience with this one. Put in what you can afford to forget about for the time being, you will be less inclined to worry and trade the peaks and troughs in classic PI style. I've bought more this morning......it's not being shown....I guess I'm not the only one.
Yes a raft of positive news on the horizon here, I see the sp moving sharply north in the imminent future.
Today's RNS could be a masterstroke, yes it comes with risk, however without risk, no reward. The coverage will be good, and the goodwill achieved will be absolutely fantastic for the upcoming projects.
Now EU, where is our money, hand it over pronto, please.
Mr T
The have bought the government as well as h&w.
They dare not go against them now with the employment on offer.
With the 23 sept rns more positive news due
Just need the signed deals now to catapult this to levels not seen, I understand the market as no clarity on forward revenue yet but I am sure this is very soon to be revealed.
Traders leaving, investors will be hoovering!
Front page of BBC News website. And just like that, InfraStrata - playing the knight in shining armour role - swoops in to save this piece of NI's heritage/history to the relief of ALL political parties. Its project is now known by most of Northern Ireland and more importantly will have their good will/backing. bbc.co.uk/news/uk-northern-ireland-49889573 very shrewd and opportunistic purchase of an iconic asset from administrator at low price and also reduces capex across this and future projects. Worth it for PR value alone.
These are buys this morning, at 0806, I was pleased to get the opportunity to buy back the £2k worth I had to sell recently and even made a slight profit!
Hi Dodger, I put in several buys in different accounts all before 8:05am, yet no blue... Odd. Why might this be? Biggest news here imho is (unprecedented?) comment by the Secretary of State for N.I. This is a masterstroke by JW which ties the future of one of N.I's most renowned companies / workforces to the success of the InfraStrata Islandmagee project. Additionally, it tackles another criticism of the project, which is the lack of jobs for locals. 60 heads in islandmagee post-construction increased over 100% and important jobs too which enable traditional industry to continue. Great public relations. Funding is interesting and YA are usually bad news if memory serves, but a major risk to this project has always been political. Finally, I've closed many positions recently, but energy security is critical for Britain, Brexit or no Brexit. Risk v reward balance just tipped again here imho. Had to top up.
Just because they are reported as sells doesn't mean that they actually are all sells Dodger. Can currently buy for 0.44 which would show as a sell.
So far every trade is a sell so looks like the market see it as a risk which is a shame
Interesting to see what the markets will make of that. INFA is certainly taking on a lot more risk now, for a potentially bigger reward in the future, and markets are usually risk-awerse.
Wow !! Game changer .. and comments from Sec State for NI on securing jobs is great .. just boarding an Air Lingus flight feeling very happy on a cold wet Tuesday Morning .. get in JW !!!
Well that certainly has taken everyone by surprise and also jmo indicates why the Islandmagee project has been slightly on hold this year after indicating funding was close early 2019.
This is an excellent acquisition at a discounted price and reading the context the savings to the IM project outweigh the acquisition and if Infastrata can make a success of the acquisition could be a game changer for the Company.
It also firmly indicates that the IM project will come to fruition and that they are fully on track for FID inQ 4 as reiterated in the RNS.
Certainly good news and a game changer imp.
Let the news continue now until year end.
Well done JW and the current board.
Mr T
Absolutely amazing, not only to reduce costs but to show the project has a greater need to go ahead! this is amazing news.
Appart from the Jobs and the new Gas storage facility Northern Ireland is dependant on its energy from other sources having its own reserves is paramount going fwd into brexit .

Now that's a curve ball! Sounds very exciting and can only be good for INFA with the cost savings for Islandmagee it will bring. This is going to be a huge company in a few years. Gla
BBC already reported on it
Could see some media coverage, given its the H&W site.
Came from nowhere !!
Wasn't expecting that...
Is the ground poisoned in the woodburn forest by drilling as the tree's haven't growen.
Infrastata need to get responsible for the past.
