Bit of an update on NI energy strategy
https://www.economy-ni.gov.uk/sites/default/files/publications/economy/energy-strategy-e-bulletin-issue-14.pdf
“ Northern Ireland has submitted proposals to showcase the positive action taken to tackle climate change here. After a first round of shortlisting over half of the proposals from Northern Ireland are still in the mix for consideration. We expect to hear the outcome in the coming month and wish all applicants well.

Just see this post not sure why it was not also the subject of an RNS. I know we do not all agree when something should be the subject of an RNS but this should have been bought to the attention of shareholders. https://www.linkedin.com/posts/harlandwolff_supplychain-opportunities-energysector-activity-6837079414547845120-EIm7. The text of the post is
??? ‘From Titanic to tomorrow’ ??
For over 160 years Harland & Wolff has been a national asset for UK manufacturing with a world class infrastructure. Today it is perfectly positioned to support the needs of the maritime, offshore and renewable energy sectors for the future.
Book now (link in the comments section ??) to hear Allan Ralston and Mark Lawther give an update on Harland & Wolff's recent acquisitions, look at future projects and discuss the types of products and services needed from the UK supply chain.
Many thanks to Doqaru Limited for being our Global Digital Supporter.

Application being made because of increasing security of electricity concerns for Ireland.
Just seen this tweet https://twitter.com/Harland_Wolff1/status/1431524712396566529 A very important load?
Detailed below are details of recent bids awards.

Edit: The sums involved are not large.
Although previously reported it is good to see cover in local newspapers & quotes the contract value.

Geervliet has arrived at Methil (general cargo ship) arrived at 15.59 today from Italy

Wish them well. Hope they get plenty of experience and are not let down by the suits in charge.
Know someone local that applied to Appledore and was waiting to hear back. Will find out how they got on.
At least this time the company RNSed the reduction in a more timely manner. Last time they reduced, back in June, it took two weeks . Saying that, it still doesn't look good when Insti's are selling down at all time lows. Obviously, at a loss.
Underwhelmed by the recent performance, regardless of all the "great" tweets and what nots on social meedja.
Thought I did well buying some back at 20 and 18p. lol
Why no update on Appldore, re: payment? Are they doing their usual trick of "renegotiating" the deal?
Saw the comments on what were being called "placing shares" as being an indication of them having done the deal. But they would have been done through an issue of equity not a couple of large trades through the exhange, shirly?
Heading to Barnstaple this afternoon, might swing by Appldore and see if I can spot any activity.
This tweet has been posted on twitter https://twitter.com/Harland_Wolff1/status/1431173836473618435 So the apprenticeships scheme has started
Bubble2021 ref 10.02 post Bit of useless information Octopus have increased their holding since the last time that the significant shareholders list was last updated even after this sale. They also sold shares in TPG this week so wonder if they are in need of cash.
RNS out....Holdings news
oldtramp ref 09.05 post As you say an interesting read. It would be interesting to see what is meant by a rejuvenated Arnish Fabrication Yard.
Interesting read
5.2 mentions fabrication yard

So do i Stokey keep it up stokey my friend !!:)
Stokey you keep posting I appreciate your research
Arnish and Methil getting a mention below on the energyvoice.com website.
There's no news in this item but getting press like this on a high traffic renewables, energy and oil & gas type website can't do any harm for the brand out in the marketplace.
https://www.energyvoice.com/renewables-energy-transition/345496/images-promising-signs-for-arnish-as-harland-and-wolff-shares-details-of-upgrades/
I don't suppose they do, as even if you stop posting incessantly its more than likely the share price will continue to fall .
A more apt correlation would be between how much John Wood and Arun Raman's bank balances rise and how much the share price falls.
Tonyh1975 ref 15.32 post thanks for the compliment I do not believe my posts have the effect you think they do.
Stokey the more you posts reasons why this share price should go up, the more it goes down.
Just seen this have not read it yet. https://www.geplus.co.uk/news/study-delves-into-feasibility-of-underground-hydrogen-storage-26-08-2021/?eea=*EEA*&eea=UkhrTVBPbXR4SXV2cHhYRTJWUDUrems5VGdjNmh2YVlLclVmWHRuWGlLRT0%3D&utm_source=acs&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=CONE_GE_EDI_ALL_%20IndustryNews%20_260821%20&deliveryName=DM5292
Just seen this post https://www.linkedin.com/posts/harlandwolff_our-team-has-been-working-all-24-hours-of-activity-6836523260272889856-ljZM The text is 'Our team has been working all 24 hours of the clock to turn the Victorine around. She left at around 3am, the early hours of this morning.' This leaves just the Azura in dock.
Stokey, morning ,thank you for the link very good and important link associated to islandMagee indeed this is coming to the forefront now of governments intentions to be carbon free energy by 2050
